In the Dachstein West mountain region, 60km south of Salzburg, Annaberg offers a huge choice of winter skiing, with over 145km of skiing directly accessable from the village lift system. Summer time offers walking and biking in some of the most beautiful scenery Europe has to offer.

Winter festivals include worldcup skiing, both downhill and crosscountry, as well as ski jumping. Balloon festivals, night skiing and sledging are also popular. Summer time offers walking, biking, lakes, golf, Salzburg, world heratige sites and beautiful scenery to name but a few.
How to get there
Budget Airlines www.ryanair.com and www.flybe.com both fly into Salzburg from several U.K. destinations. Driving from the UK takes about 14 hours, and is easy motorway right up to the last 30km of the journey.

Further details outdoors: With its own garden, and access to the Alpenhof restaurant and beer garden next door, the chalet offers great views of the surrounding mountains in the Lammertal valley in a relaxed and freindly environment.

The storage room is secure for both ski and bike storage. Maps of the area, activities, places to see are all listed in the house, and further information is available at the tourist office in the village. Ski lifts are just 800m from the chalet, and interconnect with the whole Dachstein West ski area. Parking for up to four cars. The free ski bus stop is only 40m from the house.
Conditions
A £200 deposit is required at time of booking, this acts as security of the booking and as a damage deposit during your stay. At the end of your stay, assuming no damage, this deposit is returned in full. The main payment is not required until two weeks before departure.
