Anna Maria Island is situated on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast and offers many varied activities for the discerning holiday maker - stunning beaches, fine restaurants and many outdoor activities such as fishing, sailing, water sports, golfing, shopping and cultural attractions (theatres, places of interest, museums and aquariums) or just plain old island exploration using the free island trolley bus. There is enough to keep the whole family occupied. The major attractions of Orlando and Tampa (Busch Gardens) are within easy driving distance. As is the city of Sarasota - the cultural heart of Florida. Our townhouse is ideally located to cater for all holiday tastes. Just steps from pure white sandy beaches and beautiful gulf waters the 3 outside balconies, all with sea views, provide a wonderful viewing point to enjoy stunning sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. There is a scenic walkway, through mangroves, to the inter-coastal waterway where you can enjoy fantastic sunrises, watch dolphins play, pelicans catch their next meal, sail boats glide by or simply cast a line and do some fishing of your own from the decked area. All within easy walking distance to an excellent selection of restaurants, shops and cafes, and to the famous Bridge Street Pier. There is a shared pool on site with jacuzzi and large gas BBQ for those wishing to relax after a day at the beach, shopping or enjoying the many activities on offer. Explore this beautiful island courtesy of the free trolley service - stops are right on the doorstep outside the townhouse.

The townhouse was fully refurbished in late 2010 with lots of "designer" touches added. It boasts a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. TV's in all bedrooms with full cable service (including sports package) available from the large HD TV in the lounge. Wireless internet also available together with free local (US/Canada) telephone calls. Large garage can cater for 2 vehicles. Plenty of living space afforded by this 1524 sq ft property. Beach chairs, parasols and large cooler provided to help you enjoy lazy days on the beautiful beach.

The large decked balcony off the lounge provides the perfect location for enjoying outside living Florida style. The property also boats balconies off the dining room and the main master suite. The shared pool and jacuzzi have recently been refurbished. Facilities here also include a large gas BBQ, large patio area with loungers and tables/chairs to relax and indulge in island living.

Situated at the southern tip of Tampa Bay, Anna Maria Island enjoys a tropical climate with an average yearly temperature in the high 70's with highs in the 90's during the summer months. Tampa is a one hour drive and boasts many attractions including the regenerated Ybor City (where you will find the oldest restaurant in the US - Columbia) whilst Orlando with its many theme parks and other attractions is only a two hour drive away (perfect location for combining a week at Orlando with a more relaxing week on the beach!). Anna Maria Island is only c40 mins drive from Sarasota, the cultural capital of Florida where you can explore museums, theatres, galleries and many other place of interest.

“Amazing Place” We have just returned from a fantastic week in Villa Conch. it was just what we needed after a manic two weeks in Orlando/ Disney. The Villa is fantastic in a beautiful location literally 2 mins walk from the beach, which is georgeous (white sand and blue sea) and lots of shells and sharks teeth to collect!!!! We have a child with Cerebral Palsy who struggles to walk any distance so the trolley stop at the end of the driveway was brilliant for us because it meant we cud get anywhere on the island with ease. The pool and hot tub were great and we always managed to get sun beds, it almost felt like a private pool!!! There's loads to do on the island we hired a boat and watched the dolphins swimming round us, went jet skiing and parasailing all of which were fantastic!!! I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone and although we don't usually return to places because we feel there's always somewhere new to visit this is an exception to the rule and we will definitely return at some point! Just to mention it was all so straight forward and we had contact numbers in case we had any problems which we didn't so all in all we couldn't have hoped for more!!! Thanks for having us we had a totally amazing time!!!

“A fun week!” We spent a lovely week at Villa Conch with another couple. While the weather was cool and very windy, it was sunny every day. The beach is just across the street so we walked each morning -- going south you can walk to all the shops and restaurants of Bradenton Beach. The condo is well taken care of, clean, and nicely furnished. Great kitchen. Decks off the front, rear, and upstairs off one of the bedrooms. The elevator was terrifically handy for moving our suitcases in and out, since the living space is on the second and third floors. The gas grill in the garage is not in any shape to use but there is another one a few steps away by the pool. (It was too cold to swim). Villa Conch's location is centrally located in a pretty crowded area of Bradenton Beach, so you're close to lots of activities. The condos themselves are very close to each other; you are just a few feet away from your neighbors' decks, so you don't have much privacy which depending on what you're looking for may or may not be an issue. For us it was fine, we enjoyed ourselves, cooked some great meals, and had a wonderful time. Many thanks for Kieran Smith for their lovely Villa Conch.

“A Little Taste of Paradise!” For our first trip to Florida we were delighted to have chosen to stay on Anna Maria Island and in particular in the very welcoming Villa Conch town house. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, with tasteful and modern decoration. It is air-conditioned and spacious with excellent en-suite facilities. It very soon felt like a comfortable home from home.The location was superb with the glorious white beach only two minutes walk away. We had use of the pool and jacuzzi. As well as having the option to go to the beach we also enjoyed sitting on the nearby private jetty overlooking the bay watching the amazing wildlife. Other times we enjoyed sitting on the town house's south facing balcony or hopping on the free trolly bus to explore the island and enjoy its local shops, bars and restaurants. We were saddened when the time came to leave and will want to stay in the same accomodation again when we next visit AMI.

“Can we go again?” We travelled as a couple and found the house to be in great condition, very clean and with great amenities e.g. large garage in which it was easy to park the car, a modern kitchen and comfortable beds and sofas. In short, a real home from home. It is also in a fantastic location. The beach is about a two minute walk away, on the other side of an easily crossed road and there are deck chairs and sun umbrellas in the garage for you to take across there. There is a swimming pool as part of the development and a walk through to the inter-costal waterway which is a great place to watch the sunrise. There is a free trolley bus which runs the length of the island which makes it really easy to get around. This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island. The island has a very 'chilled out' holiday feel to it, which made it easy to relax from day 1. With a beautiful beach which runs the length of the island, plenty of good quality restaurants and a wide selection of shops it's a great place to spend some time. In summary, this is a well-maintained property in an excellent location and we wouldn't hesitate to book to stay again.
