Eco or cosmopolitan holidays? Here both options are available! The residence is situated in the preserved settlement of Ypsila near the capital of Andros. Its being built in the early decades of 19th century and was abandoned in the mid 20th. In 2005 was fully restored according to the traditional technique which involves stone, clay and wood as construction materials. Entering the property, a stone staircase leads to the main entrance of the house on the first floor; wooden floors, the attic and the traditional ceiling are some of the features that initially draw the attention.
The residence owns a separate garden of 1600 m². In the garden are situated a fully equipped stone-built barbecue and oven on a 25 m² terrace with sea view. In the garden one can find olive trees as well as various fruit trees. Surrounding the garden are platanus, walnuts, figs and oaks trees.

Andros is located in the Cyclades complex and its about 2.5 h travel from Athens International Airport.
Ypsila is a traditional reserve settlement situated 200m above the sea level with a particular sea view. Close to Ypsila are numerous beaches and other settlements which are connected by a network of footpaths or tarmac.
Just 2 km on foot or 4 km by car is the Andros capital which locals name Chora. There, among else, are museums of contemporary art as well as an archaeological and a nautical since Andros has a great maritime tradition.
On the island one can spot many beautiful beaches, delicious food made by traditional recipes, nightlife, monuments, Byzantine abbeys, rare architecture, infamous springs and superb natural environment. Added to that, from Ypsila a visitor can combine the worldliness or tranquility of the nearby seas with the wildlife of the mountain.
