The Andratx / Puerto de Andratx area
El Puerto de Andratx is a natural harbor located at the west end of Mallorca, used by navigators since antiquity. Has grown from a fishing village to become a major tourist center, yet the fishing field is still present, fact that favors the supply of fresh fish from the restaurants in the area, although the port is mostly taken by boats and luxury yachts.
The main attraction of Puerto de Andratx is the landscape of the Tramuntana mountains and coves in the area, which attract many tourists to spend their holidays in one of the hotels, villas or vacation homes, which account for a large range accommodation for an exclusive residential tourism. In fact, many residents of Puerto Andratx are foreigners, mainly from other European countries.
