About the home

Anarita Valley is just a 8 minut drive from Paphos airport but is not on the flight path.

A ten minute walk takes you to the village square. Anarita is a unspoiled traditional village with a supermarket, bank and a handful of taverns - the food is always excellent and prices in this area are far cheaper than you will find in the main town. A ten minutes drive and you are at Asprokremnos Dam for fishing or a country walk. A five minutes drive takes you to Timi village where a Sunday market is held. In Timi you will find more taverns, another supermarket, bakery and takeaways. Fifteen minutes west and you are in Paphos with its Water Park, Beaches, harbour, and lively nightlife, travel a little further and explore the Tombs of the Kings one of many local ancient archaeological sites. There is a bus service every 2 hours - one Euro - into town.

The Paphos region

Paphos is typically Mediterranean and has sunshine all year round. Stunning coastline and history makes Cyprus and Paphos a popular holiday destination. In the cooler winter months between December and March.
Paphos offers families and couples a good balance of history, tourist attractions and shops. Paphos harbour comes to life in the evening with visitors strolling along the sea front promenade, enjoying dinner in the excellent choice of sea food or international cuisine restaurants and enjoying the lively nightlife of the bar street area.

Declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. A Paphos holidays should include a look at the superb mosaics at the House of Dionysus, the Tombs of the Kings, the Odeon Theatre, the Baths of Aphrodite and the museums.

Paphos has it's own water park and many beaches with Coral Bay been the most popular offering water sports.

The Anarita / Anarita Valley area

The Secret Valley Golf Course is approx 5km from the property. It is an 18 hole championship golf course set amongst mature trees with beautiful sculptured rock formations and spectacular views all around. The front 9 having a few nice warm-up holes and birdie opportunities plus a fairly straightforward dog-leg. The back nine is however more challenging. Par 72, 6120 metres. The Aphrodite Hills Golf Course. A fantastic and beautifully laid out award winning 18 hole championship course again overlooking the Mediterranean, and set amongst the hills above Ahprodites Rock with views to die for. In distance terms almost next door to Secret Valley, so again very close. At 6300m long and par 71/70, It is almost certainly the best in Cyprus, and as good as it's Spanish or Portuguese counterparts. Should you tire of these two right on your doorstep, a third course Minthis Hills is located high above Paphos at Tsada about 25 minutes by car.

“Excellent Location” Lovely quiet, clean, well maintained development with 4 great pool (twin pools on each side of development) which was fantastic and safe for the children to use. Olivio's restaurant at the top of the hill (5 mins walk) serves superb, well priced food (one of the cheapest places we found and yet the food was fautless, delicious). Excellent location, 8 mins from airport, but far away not to see or hear it. 15mins from Pathos centre, 5 mins from motorway. If there was any criticism, it would be having to pay for the use of air-conditioning and washing machine on a meter.

“A lovely peaceful location.” The apartment was very clean comfortable and had everything you needed in it, it was in a very peaceful location, the pool and garden area were kept spotless and it was in a great location for the airport. The restuarant at the top of the village served wonderful food i would recomend it and the prices were good too it's called Olivias. The Gym is very well equiped which i tryed a couple of times, also the bakery in Timi is excellant to buy your fresh bread from.

“A lovely villa and great complex” This property was just what we expected, clean, comfortable and a real home from home.. The complex was very peaceful and relaxing and the people who we met there were very friendly and helpful, there was two different pool areas and even though it was only early may they weren't to cold, (my 3yr old spent a huge amount of time in them which was a good sign).. The gardens and grounds seemed very safe and looked after.. The village of Anarita was lovely and traditional looking and housed a few local and tavernas and restaurants and Timi was good for the pizza (pizza tower to be highly recommended), bakers and supermarket.. We booked this villa only 3 days before we travelled and Bruce and Wendy were extreamley helpful in all aspects of what we needed to know and do and everything went off without a hitch.. If we head back to Cyprus again we will definitely head back to Anarita Valley

Changeover day is not fixed and can be changed to meet the needs of guests, although this must be discussed on booking.

A refundable breakage deposit of £100 is required with final balance payment returned within seven days of your departure, subject to satisfactory property inspection. (extra cleaning and breakages)
