This beautifully furnished second floor apartment comprises an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable sitting area opening out onto a lovely east-facing balcony with a square table and four chairs. This is great in the morning for its energising sun and wonderful in the evening for drinks in the shade. A door from the main living area takes you to two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom, and the other is twin-bedded; both have plenty of space in fitted wardrobes. There is undercroft parking and a store room where you can find the sunbeds. If you are here for a cycling holiday, bikes may be stored here safely. The sleepy village of Anafotia does not have all the trappings of tourism and the bus service to Larnaca is minimal. It is strongly advisable that you hire a car, though guests have stayed here quite happily without one, content to loll around the pool and avail themselves of the local taxis to take them to nearby beaches or the camel park (yes!) when they feel like it. A car gives you the freedom to get here from the airport in 15 minutes, and the village is well-placed for trips out to places of interest West, North or East - most in less than an hour. At home, Anafotia has the wonderful Cafe Aman where our friends Stavroula and Andreas offer a very warm welcome, and - honestly - their food is quite the best in the whole area.
This is the holiday for those seeking peace and quiet.

It is, therefore, possible to sleep 7 people, but not advisable.
Keys are provided to the guest for a property on the understanding that they are responsible for it whilst they are staying in it.
There will be a charge for any lost keys and you will be responsible for any other expenses in relation to replacing locks, locksmith call out charges etc.
We will deliver to you all the information you need by email prior to arrival. It is important that you follow the instructions we provide to avoid confusion - please read them. It is your responsibility to keep us informed of changes to your email address and/or telephone numbers and any flight information you have provided to us.
Check-in after 16.00 and departure by 11.00. (These times may be flexible). Late Check-out may be possible but must be agreed with us before the date of departure. Late departures may be subject to a "late departure fee".
The property will be checked for any damage on departure and any costs incurred will be advised at this time.
Payments can be made by paypal or bank transfer.
A 25% deposit is required within 7 days of booking. A 100% deposit is required if your booking date is within 28 days of arrival.
The final balance is due 56 days prior to arrival. Failure to pay your final balance may result in cancellation of your booking and the loss of your deposit.
If the behaviour of any of the guests is in the opinion of us unacceptable, then we reserve the right to ask them to leave the property and/or terminate the rental agreement immediately. This policy is for the benefit of all our guests.
Cancellation of your booking will result in loss of deposit in all cases. Cancellation of your booking within 28 days of arrival will result in payment of 50% of the total booking value. If you have to cancel within 14 days, 100% of the cost will be retained.
Under no circumstances will we be held responsible for any accident, injury or damage, and any related expenses which you incur whilst staying in the property.
It is recommended that you take out Travel Insurance cover before arriving with adequate cover to meet any possible expenses either medical, consequential or third party.

The Larnaca region
Larnaca is the nearest town being only 20 minutes by car. There you will find plenty of shopping opportunities in the many streets and passage ways. There are also large supermarkets such as Carrefour if you need them. Larnaca also has many places of interest to see. Along the treelined promenade there is a host of good places to eat as well as a good blue flag status beach with sunbeds, parasols and watersports. There is a Marina at one end of the promenade and the Fort at the other. There are also two museums, the church of St. Lazarus and various ancient sites across the town. If you take the coast road to Larnaca, you will pass the Salt Lakes which are home to migrating Flamingos during the winter months.
Larnaca has something for everyone - beautiful beaches, including the famous Phinikoudes Beach, a marina, delightful promenades lined with palm trees and an array of cafes, bars and restaurants over looking the sparkling Mediterranean sea.
There is also a good range of shops both Cypriot and British (Marks & Spencer, Debenhams) as well as an excellent choice of traditional and international restaurants.
The excellent road connections put Larnaca within easy reach of other resorts including Ayia Napa, Protaras and Limassol.
Larnaca is a thriving port with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is a significant tourist and commercial area. It is a convenient base for exploring the island. Pedestrianised sea front is lined with plenty of Cypriot cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all ages. At the northern end of the promenade there is a large marina where regular boat trips can be booked. Larnaca has a long history and there are many places of interest to see and explore. Ayia Napa is a 30 min drive to the east and is renowned for its night life. It also has a water park highly suitable for families. To the north a 30 min drive will take you to Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.
St Christopher's Gardens is located in the traditional Cyprus village of Anafotia. Situated in the Larnaca district, ten minutes drive from the town of Larnaca, it is a charming little village with a long and esteemed history. Anafotia is built on hills surrounded by green areas presenting to the village a picturesque look. Just 2km away
from the village is Larnaca Coast with its beautiful natural beaches.
Anafotia is a delightful village 6km from the beach, 3 km from the popular town of Mazatos and 15km from Larnaca airport.
Anafotia is situated slightly inland and perfectly positioned to offer a relaxing break from a hard days golf, visiting the beaches or the numerous attractions the area offers.
There are many ancient sites and museums to visit in Larnaca. The Archaeological Museum has exhibits dating back as far as 3000 BC from the local sights of Kition and Choirokatia. There are actual remains of the ancient city of Kition and the most visible are at Leontiou Machaira near the Archaeological Museum.
The Pierides Museum houses 3,600 exhibits of the private collection antiques of Demetrius Pierides and there is also theTurkish Fort and Medieval Museum. The fort was built in 1625 and is now a small museum containing mainly suits of armour.
