Home description

This is a beautifully furnished and very spacious apartment in the centre of Amsterdam with lots of light. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen kitchen and is made up of two big rooms where I can fit maximum 5 if I add two single mattresses. Meals can be provided at extra charge.

The apartment is located right by the Leidseplein and all the important museums such as The van Gogh and Reiksmuseum. The apartment is across the Vondelpark and very near the PC Hoofdstraat which is the most exclusive shopping street of Amsterdam.

The Northern Holland / North Holland region

Volendam and Marken are very special Dutch tourist places - be sure to try out their fish specialities! Around the Amsterdam area, Zandvoort has a very nice beach and is a small town 20 minutes away by train. Keukenhoff is very beautiful to visit to see the flowers. Alkmaar is great to visit for their cheeses.

The climate is great in spring and summer and cozy in autumn and in the winter, it is always good to have a raincoat.


Amsterdam area

The whole Centre of Amsterdam has great biking tours and lots of attractions to check out including: Reiksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, Vondelpark, pc hoofd straat, concert gebouw, leidseplein. Nice areas to visit are the Pijp for the famous Albertkuip market, the Jordaan for its small houses and streets.

On Saturdays there is a wonderful biological market there and on Mondays the Nordemarkt. A very interesting museum to visit especially for kids and also grown-ups is the Nemo.

Going for a boat ride through the canals is an exquisite experience to do in the evening especially. And you can visit Anne Frank house.
