This beautiful houseboat is moored on the Nieuwe Keizersgracht in the centre of Amsterdam. Only 5 minutes walking distance from the Rembrandt House, Waterlooplein flee-market, Jewish historical museum and the new Hermitage museum. Only 10 minutes to the Nieuwmarket and the Dam square.
The houseboat offers 2 separate apartments, a 2 and a 1 bedroom apartment. Both apartments have separate entrances and separate walking bridges to shore. And, each apartment has a private sundeck and the 2 bedroom apartment has a romantic wheelhouse. The boat is about a 100 years old. It has been rebuilt in 2002 by traditional boatdesigners from Friesland. It offers all the luxury that a modern house has without loosing its classic characteristics.
Very nice looking luxurious houseboat, better accommodation than the Amsterdam Hotels, with much more space, privacy and a nice private deck outside.

Aside from Amsterdam and its cobbled streets and canals there is plenty of beautiful countryside waiting to be explored-tulip fields, windmills..... Hiring a bike is an ideal way of getting around, especially since the land is flat!

The boat is located in Amsterdam Centre, a wonderful city. Cobbled streets, cafes, it can be as lively or as tranquil as you wish.
Special activities: - Privat boat tours in and around Amsterdam; for instance to Edam (indeed, were the cheese comes from). - Guided visites to auction houses in and around Amsterdam; quite worthwile because one pays 1/2 to 1/3 of shop prices. -
How to get there
Easy to reach.
If you arrive on Schiphol (Amsterdam) Airport you can do 2 things.
1 Take a taxi to the boat (costs about 40 Euros) Nieuwe Keizersgracht opposite to number 62
2 take the train To Amsterdam central station (direct connection) And after take the subway 2 stops to Waterlooplein. All subways go the same direction the first stops, so you cant miss! From there it is only 1 street away. Take the subway exit Nieuwe Herengracht. Walk up the stairs until you get to the weesperstraat, the first canal on the right is the Nieuwe Keizersgracht.
