The start of the 186 mile Pembrokeshire coastal path begins here and is ideal for ramblers wishing to enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery on route.

This Cottage sleeps five and has two bedrooms with a double bed in one room, a single and bunk beds in the other. There is a large bathroom with bath and over bath electric shower. Towels are provided but soap and shampoo are not, you may also wish to bring a hair dryer.

The lawn and shrubs take up half an acre and there are ten acres of woodland running all the way down to the seafront. There is an old pig sty converted into a storage shed for garden furniture (wooden table and four chairs included) bicycles can be securely stored here should you be contemplating a Pembrokeshire cycling holiday, also useful for windsurfers and wet suits etc.

Best of Wales have numerous holiday cottages in Pembrokeshire. Why not try a spot of dolphin or whale watching out of St Davids, or surfing at many of the areas fabulous surf beaches. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park which includes over 621 miles (1000 km) of footpaths and bridleways, walking is an ideal way of exploring the beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Trail is a spectacular 186 miles (299 km) long National Trail covering some of the most varied coastal scenery in Britain, stretching from St Dogmaels in the north to Amroth in the south. Trails in the park offer over 200 circular walks, ranging from a one hour stroll to an invigorating 9 miles (15km) cross-country hikes.

Amroth

Bwthyn Amroth is a comfortably furnished detached property with 10 acres of woodland to roam in and situated approximately 200 meters from the beach at Amroth on the eastern side of the village. The 186 mile Pembrokeshire coastal path begins here and is ideal for ramblers wishing to enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery on route. The holiday cottage is 3 miles from Saundersfoot and 8 miles from Tenby. This is typical unspoilt Pembrokeshire at its best.

Amroth is a charming coastal village in southern Pembrokeshire. The New Inn and Amroth Arms are a short walk away, also Colby Woodland Gardens and on the western side there are further public houses, restaurant, shop and cafe. A short drive leads to the neighbouring village of Wisemans Bridge and the popular resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby are a little further afield.

Beaches

The Blue Flagged Amroth beach is within easy walking distance of the cottage. With excellent water quality it is popular for swimming, windsurfing, fishing and all other beach activities. The eastern end of the beach also allows pets all year round, making it a perfect location for a dog friendly holiday. 500 yards

Barafundle Beach has been voted many times as one of the best beaches in Britain and the world; it's often likened to a Caribbean beach only better! 18 miles

Walking

Whether you're after a gentle stroll or a week-long hike, it's right on your doorstep, and a watering hole to quench your thirst is never far away. Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. 0.3 miles
