The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
The area has olive, orange lemon groves, almond trees and grape vines. Brandy and wine are made locally. The skies are blue, the sun shines most of the time, with light breezes from the mountains The sea is warm .There are many secluded beach coves along the coast line. Small marinas and fishing harbours where you can buy local catch to bbq in the alfresco area

Fun packed days can be found at the local theme park or water park of Porta ventura, favourite haunt of the children. Scenic drives through the mountains. Visit fashionable Barcelona.or the historic city of tarragona Large markets such as Buenavista on Sundays, where you can buy local produce, crafts, handbags, souvenires etc or small local fruit markets held daily.
