We had a delightful eight days at Chauffer's cottage in October 2011. The cottage has been prepared to a very good standard and is nicely positioned in park-like surroundings at the edge of a lovely village. We found it just perfect for exploring the region, including Oxford, “Midsummer Murders” country and National Trust buildings and gardens such as Clivedon and Waddesdon. London is easily accessible for day trips by train. We would be very happy to stay there again. Thank you Sian for making our stay a lovely experience and also for turning on beautiful weather. |

Nestled amongst trees on a quiet country lane, Chauffeur's Cottage is a great holiday cottage. Well equiped, comfortable and a ten minute walk from the train station which will take you to London in about 35 minutes, it is a great base for exploring Midsomer Murders country too. After a day exploring London it was great to be able to return to our little peaceful haven for dinner in one of the many lovely country pubs the area offers. Response: I'm so pleased that you had such a lovely time and hope that your return journey to Australia went well? Thank you for such a lovely review, I hope to welcome you back again some time in the future. Sian |

A delightfully charming cottage converted from the original garage and chauffeur's accommodation. Set in a lovely garden with beautiful views and just a short walk into Great Missenden village centre and a direct train line into London. A great location for exploring the local countryside with countless gorgeous villages and wonderful walking tracks. Was travelling with my daughter but hope to return to the cottage for a romantic week with my husband next time (a second honeymoon??) Response: Thanks for your feedback Annie, I know that you were hoping to spend some time in a classic english country cottage, glad that we didn't disappoint! Regards, Sian |
