Neaum Crag is a secluded estate of individually privately owned properties at the Heart of the English Lake District and is set in 18 acres of south facing wooded hillside. Located a short walk from Skelwith Bridge in an area of complete seclusion at the foot of the Langdale Valley, where walking is literally at its very best. Yet only 5 minutes drive from the restaurants, cafes and Inns of Ambleside.

Easedale Tarn is a spacious Log Cabin offering comfortable accommodation for four adults with two full sized bedrooms. An additional fold away bed is also provided. The accommodation comprises:

Entrance into kitchen/dining area, with a round dining table with chairs to seat four.

Spacious living area with French windows leading out onto the patio.

Large double bedroom (with king sized bed) with fitted bedroom furniture and Large twin bedroom, again with fitted furniture.

Bathroom with shower, which also includes steam shower, private patio with picnic bench and private parking for two cars.

Up to 3 dogs stay free of charge

Guests also have free access to the onsite small leisure complex containing swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna (not available 16th November to 28th February annually) This complex also houses a small shop and laundry facilities.

The Cumbria/Lake District

The Langdale Valley is home to possibly one of the most well-known and well-walked mountain ranges in England. The jagged peaks of the Langdale Pikes create a spectacular skyline and provide adventurous walking and climbing opportunities. The valley itself offers fantastic low level walks for the less experienced and active visitor.

Ambleside

There are a number of picturesque hamlets dotted throughout the valley including Little and Great Langdale, Elterwater and Chapel Stile each boasting an inviting, traditional inn serving hearty homemade fare and local real ale. At the head of the valley is Blea Tarn. Stone built Blea Tarn House, dating from the 1600s, sits nearby and was the inspiration for a Wordsworth poem.

"10/10 accommodation, stunning views and location"

First time to the Lake District, AND WONT BE THE LAST!
I booked last minute as a surprise for my partner who has been snowed under for weeks at work and desperately needed a break! Booking was easy and Brian was very helpful.
The lodge was equipped for your everyday need and more!. Supplied family games and x box was an added bonus and great for evening family time, not to mention the pool and table tennis in the leisure center which was located next to the lodge.
The walk to the caves was amazing, the green book supplied was very helpful for the advised walks. So impressed we asked our son and dog to follow up the next day (as he originally did not want to come.)
Well worth the money, was totally relaxed for the whole stay.... Thank you
Did not want to go home :-(

"Easedale Tarn"

Excellent accomodation, excellent location, excellent facilities,
Brian, the owner was nothing short of fantastic. He dealt with queries, came to meet me on the day of arrival, leaving flowers & a bottle of wine.
I would highkly recommend this place to everyone, but book with Brian directly rather than the lettings company, as they are not quite so good, as they fail to respond to queries or refund your liability payment of £100.

"Excellent first class treatment"

Fantastic booking experience and accommodation. Could not fault our weekend away.
Very clean linen and warm cozy continuous heating. The owner knows how to please and has every aspect of letting covered. Kitchen crockery/cutlery very clean and kitchen fascilities was good. Bathroom small but adequate with a wonderful shower/steam exfoliating facility

Three adults and three dogs were extremely pleased. Lovely position and the sat nav took us straight to the door. Out door lighting provided also.

Could not fault this letting experience.

"What a pleasurable family holiday, lovely accommodation, lovely site. Highly recommend."

Accommodation lovely, everything thought of, lovely shower, high quality utensils, flat screen tv, full freeview, Xbox, fully heated. Right next to Ambleside / Coniston but lovely and quiet. Swimming pool, sauna and table tennis table all fantastic!!

"Excellent location, good standard of accomodation and a pool!"

Quiet location in gorgeous countryside. The property was lovely and warm, welcoming and well equipped. The rooms a good size and a TV with game console which delighted our 5 year old. The pool was fantastic as we had it to ourselves being late Oct and just a great size for a 5 year old. Lots of lovely local walks to take family on, spotted deer on the first day out on the hillside. We will certainly be back-our daughter can't wait!
