Part of Neaum Crag, a peaceful development of log cabins and exclusive apartments, Badger's Walk nestles in the secluded atmosphere of the Langdale Valley. The ground floor property is a paradise for couples or companions, overlooking a small tarn and surrounded by 18 acres of private woodland. A break at Badgers Walk includes full use of the on-site leisure complex including pool, sauna, jacuzzi and games room (March to November). Perfect for soaking away the aches of the day; especially as the Langdale Valley offers some of the finest walking and hiking in the Lake District.

Accommodation in detail

Sheltered entrance porch with entrance hall. Open-plan lounge and dining room overlook the tarn, with access to private, furnished patio. Well-equipped kitchen sits off the living area. Double bedroom has full-length patio doors, also overlooking the tarn. Chic, soothing bathroom with bath and shower over.

Location

Langdale Valley is a place of dreams for walkers, and for lovers of peace and quiet. And, despite being an accommodation complex, Neaum Crag is a small, tasteful and private one so the air of seclusion remains.

Langdale Valley is scarcely inhabited bar several traditional pubs and the little communities of Chapel Stile and Elterwater. At all times the scenery is dominated by the majestic presence of the Langdale Pikes; you won't need to be reminded that you're in the most renowned walking location in the Lake District.

Facilities, shops, restaurants, bars and more are found an easy distance away in Ambleside. Within minutes you're linked up to the main route through the Lakes, bringing the attractions of Coniston, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness and more within manageable driving distance.

The Cumbria/Lake District

The Lake District is a place like no other. No other region in the world is so packed with such varied and stunning scenery in such as small area– and it's all on your doorstep with easy access by car or rail. The choice of outdoor activities is endless with some of the best walks, climbs and bike rides in the world, beautiful lakes for sailing, canoeing, windsurfing or just a cruise one of several ferry services. The National Park itself encompasses soaring mountains, native woodland (you might see a red squirrel!), lush meadows and of course the many famous lakes themselves. Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter, Ruskin and many more have been inspired by the Lake District and made their homes here. The homes are still here and open to visit and they too are surrounded by majestic mountain panoramas. There also some surprises – kids will love attractions such as the giant i-max screen at Rheged Visitor Centre, Go Ape aerial activities in Grizedale Forest and The World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness. And where better to stay than a classic Lakeland Cottage. Lakelovers have over 400 properties in prime locations within the heart of the Lakes and we specialise in hand-picked properties that we know you'll love. Whether you want a grand property for a family gathering or a cosy bolt hole for two we can't wait to show you what we have for you to choose from. We know The Lakes inside out and we are just a click of a mouse or a phone call away.
