About the home

Located in a central location in Ambleside Rossett Holme is the perfect holiday home for a large group of friends. The four bed conversion has a large fitted kitchen with great facilities including a range cooker and American styled fridge freezer. The lounge has seating for all eight guests, a large TV and a gas wood burning stove. There's also Wi-Fi connection throughout the apartment. On the second floor are four good sized bedrooms, two king size, one twin and one double. All these rooms have en suites! Outside there's private parking for two cars with further parking available via a permit. Bikes can also be stored and there's a small veranda with seating.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
The property is on the first and second floors, but, being on a slope there is only half a flight of stairs to the main access from the onsite parking at the back of the building.  It has gas fired central heating, with 2 hot water tanks to provide endless hot water for baths and showers.  The front entrance is on the ground floor with ample coat and back pack hanging space and boot storage.

Kitchen:  Access from the parking area leads into the kitchen which has a dual fuel range cooker, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer with ice making and chilled water, and a wine cooler.
Dining area: This is within the extended area and can comfortably accommodate 8.
Main lounge: This leads straight on from the kitchen/dining area and has ample seating for eight with a large flat screen Smart TV, Bose ipod docking station, blue ray DVD player, Sky Plus and Sports channels, Wifi, books, maps and games.
Cloakroom: With W.C and hand basin.
Smaller lounge: With large corner seating unit for at least 5/6, wi-fi, TV with Sky, Bose Ipod player, Blue Ray DVD player.  Perfect for a 'boys room'
1st Bedroom: King size double with ensuite bathroom with separate bath and shower, heated towel rail and shaver point and all light oak furniture. Both Hungarian white goose down, and nonallergenic duvets are available.  Dressing tables, TV and ipod stations are standard in all bedrooms.

All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. Welcome pack:- This includes red and white wine, bread, butter, sugar, preserves, tea, coffee and milk provided for arrival.

The Cumbria/Lake District region

The Lake District conjures up images of magnificent mountains and shimmering lakes and that is exactly what visitors find here. Other areas to discover include the Eden Valley, Cartmel peninsula, south east Cumbria and the Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall area; all equally beautiful and very handy for day trips into the lakes.

The Ambleside area

Ambleside is one of the most popular towns in the Lake District. At the foot of the Kirkstone Pass and the gateway to the Langdales it is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is the perfect location for any Lakeland holiday. The town has a number of shops, pubs and visitor attractions as well as easy access to Grasmere, Kendal and Windermere. There are countless walks that can be enjoyed from the town both easy and strenuous! Be sure to visit Stockghyll Force, a spectacular 70ft waterfall just a short walk from the town centre. For a more adventurous ramble you can trek to the summit of Jenkins Crag for fabulous views of Ambleside.
