About the home
'Windows' are certainly the theme of this superb central Ambleside apartment; spacious, contemporary, flooded with light and boasting fabulous views over the village to Lake Windermere and our majestic fells.
The stylish open plan living space is a dream for sociable gatherings; chocolate leather furnishings sit on wooden floors, formal dining space enjoys open access to the designer kitchen, and all this is surrounded by an array of almost floor-to-ceiling windows.
The bedroom suites sit on separate floors, ensuring privacy for couples or peace and quiet for parents. It has to be said that the loft-style king-size bedroom suite, with access to the roof terrace, makes 'Windows' a worthwhile indulgence for one couple alone.

Great location, easy to reach and a good base to explore lake district. The house had been warmed when we arrived. The house is renovated and the beds are comfortable and the rooms are tidy. Kitchen is well equipped and we did enjoy cooking for celebrating Chinese New Year. Really a perfect place worth of coming again.
