The Amathus area

Limassol's central location makes it the ideal base for seeing all of Cyprus. Walk to eat at Manzalinos (Italian) & Zen (Japanese).

Amathus, with its exclusive properties and villas was once a kingdom and its historical site is well worth a visit as is the submerged old town for scuba enthusiasts. It benefits from some of the islands best restaurants - Italian, Japanese, International, Lebanese & Russian. Golf courses are currently 30 mins away.

Parekklisia (the district) now has a golf driving range. The village of Parekklissia (4kms away) is typically Cypriot as are the surrounding villages of Ayios Tychonas, Moutagiaka, Moni & Monogrouli - each with their choices of restaurants and windy streets.

Hire bikes at Francescos bike shop around the corner from the apartment. Francesco was a coach to the Italian National cycling team before moving to Cyprus.

“The Terrace became our second home!” We have just returned from 10 days at Bayview - totally refreshed and relaxed. Was a bit of a shock setting off to work today in the dark and at 5 degrees celsius. This apartment is spotlessly clean and you are warmly welcomed by Diane & Colin, for whom nothing is too much trouble. The balcony / terrace was the overwhelming feature for us - we wanted a chance to chill-out after a particularly busy year, and the very large private terrace which receives the sun all day, really did become our lounge! Bayview is well equipped and everything works - good aircon and great wi-fi. Many eateries locally, and a small supermarket 5 minutes away - and the 'Meridien to MyMall' local bus stops at the bottom of the road - so Larnaca Centre is easily accessible in 15 minutes. Fancy some calories.....head for the 'Sailors Rest' and indulge in the Waffles - with ice cream and a variety of fruits. Ooopps - back on the diet! Andrew & Joanna (owners) are a mine of useful information and hugely helpful. Response: We are most pleased that this guest has highlighted the spaciousness and cleanliness of the apartment. We appreciated the fact that they told us how pleased they are with all the "customer service" we & our local property manager provided too. “ILLAWONG” This appartment had everything we hoped for for a most enjoyable holiday in Cyprus: Comfort, peaceful and quiet, clean, excellent views, fully and tastefully furnished, close to all facilities and central to all tourist attractions. It is also located in a safe and secured area with plenty of parking. We most enjoyed the view from the balcony of the Mediterranean sea but also the beautiful gardens below which were in full bloom. We spent 3 weeks in it and had a relaxing holiday visiting the nearby beach, the restaurants, or used as a base for our travels around the island. And not forgetting the magnificent pool when we needed to cool down during the hot month in June. Response: We are delighted that this customer had a superb experience. Not only do they highlight the comfort, views and apartment facilities and cleanliness, but identify the great location for all amenities - beach, restaurants and touring around Cyprus. We look forward to these Australian guests returning.
