Home description
Fairways is a small private development built in Andulucian village style, which is gated for security and exclusivity.
This apartment is privately owned and fully equipped, it is decorated and maintained to the highest standards.
It is on the top (second floor) , but has two balconies one overlooking the pool area and the larger south facing one over the gardens and sea. This which enjoys all day sun and has loungers, BBQ plus table & chairs for 'al fresco' dining. This is the best located penthouse at Fairways with stunning views of the sea, pool and gardens.
The apartment was fully refurbished in 2009 and now offers free WiFi. There should be no confusion between this property and some other sparce, undistinguished properties offered locally

The Tenerife region
Fairways is situated on the southern Costa de Silencio coastline. Twenty miles to the north is the mount Teide volcano (the highest mountain in Spain) with many miles of walking trails and climbs. A few hundred metres to the south is the rugged Atlantic coast with dramatic coastal walks. Here the beaches are shingle but in both directions you can find safe sandy ones. The new Marina opened in 2005 and apart from some beautiful boats there, various watersports are available. Nearby is Los Abrigos, renowned for its many fish restaurants which surround a picturesque habour. It is only a short drive away, but can also be visited by the new coastal walk from Fairways.
For designer shopping, casinos or hectic nightlife, Las Americas and Los Cristianos are about 15 minute taxi ride away.
Amarilla Golf / Fairways area
Fairways is situated between two championship golf courses. The Amarilla clubhouse is just a short walk from the Complex where there are also tennis courts. Both horse riding and bike hire is available nearbye
How to get there
Most flights go to Tenerife South Airport (Renia Sofia) and the Complex is about a 10 minute ( £ 10) taxi ride away. Alternatively I can arrange for a hirecar to be delivered to you on arrival at the airport.

Further details indoors: There is a bright spacious lounge with a very high pent ceiling for cool summer days. The lounge has digital TV, DVD, CD and stereo. Venitian tiles cover the floor and rooms have ceiling fans. The kitchen is modern, electric and fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster etc etc. Also there is a wasing machine, iron, board and drier. There is no charge for the generous welcome pack and wine which will greet you on arrival !
Patio doors open on to the large balconcy , which has table & chairs for up to four to dine 'al fresco' or simply to have a chilled wine and watch the sun go down.
Fairways is ultra safe and secure, but the apartment has an elecronic safe for peace of mind.
The bedroom also has a high ceiling with fan, built in cupboards and plenty of storage space
Further details outdoors: Located on the Amarilla Golf & Country Club estate, 'Fairways' offers a secure development with the best swimming pool for miles. It is heated, has a children's area and is monitored all day long by a professional full time life guard. In the centre there is an Island bar which serves food throughout the day.
There are beautiful sub tropical gardens with a stream which ends in a pond, which is filled with turtles and fish. On site there is an excellent restaurant, carhire and several bars. Adjacent is a supermarket, a laundry, a take away, video hire, sports bar and more quality restaurants.
The Complex is popular with families who do not want a frenetic Las Americas lifestyle and also for those seeking a quiet quality haven in which to enjoy the sunshine and scenery.
There are free organised children's activities and a new junior play area with safety flooring, climbing frame, slide, ping pong, swing, table football and an occasional bouncey castle.

FREE PARKING is available at Gatwick Airport . Tenerife Airport carhire delivery can be arranged at no cost and if required can be provided in the apartment free of charge.

Guestbook for Luxury one bedroomed Penthouse
Stylish & modern, with quality we were not really expecting. Impossible to seriously criticise any aspect of Fairways or this Penthouse, as we got everything we wanted and more. Would we return ? - Already booked for a month's stay !!!
This is the 3rd apartment we have rented at Fairways and is by far the best. Everything you need is here - home from home. Particularly liked the patio with the all day sun. We will definitely be back ! Thanks again.
