Fairways is a small private development built in Andalucian style and is gated for security and exclusivity.
The apartment is on the ground floor and is one of the best golf facing apartments at Fairways. The large terrace has loungers plus built in BBQ with table & chairs for your 'al fresco' dining. Part of the terrace is covered for those with a fairer skin.
The apartment was totally renovated Autmn 2009 and is tastefully decorated. The large lounge now has very comfortable leather suite plus table & chairs for indoor meals and complimentary WiFI access. Satellite TV has BBC & ITV channels and there is quality audio and DVD. Kitchen has been upgraded with ceramic hob and also has fridge, freezer,microwave, washing machine etc. The new modern bathroom has a triple sized walk in shower. Master bedroom has a double bed and the other two singles..

The Tenerife region
Fairways is situated on the Costa de Silencio coast , here the weather is much warmer than the north. Twenty miles to the north is the mount Teide volcano ( highest mountain in Spain) with many walking trails and climbs. A few hundred metres to the south is the rugged Atlantic coast with dramatic walks. The beaches here are dark volcanic sand and shingle but a short distance either side are yellow sand ones.
Nearby is Los Abrigos, renowned for it's many fresh seafood restaurants which surround a picturesque harbour. It is only a short drive away but can also be reached by the new coastal walk from Fairways. In the oposite direction there is a typical unspoilt Canarian seaside town of Las Galeatas, which has a recently restored fishing marina and an unpresumptious sea front ,lined with small bars and restaurants.
Amarilla Golf area
The Estate's facilities include additional swimming pools, golf courses and tennis courts. Within walking distance of Fairways there is a wide range of quality restaurants, ranging from family bistos through to fine dining establishments. Local activities include horse riding, cycling, coastal walks and from the new Marina ( 5 minute walk) windsurfing, jet skis and scuba diving.
On Fairways there is a free children's club with entertainer and a fully equipped outdoor play area with swings, climbing frame and occasional bouncey castle.
How to get there
Tenerife Airport (TFS) is a 15 minute taxi ride away and cost is about £ 14.
Alternatively a Hire car can be delivered to you on arrival.

There is more than enough kitchenware and when you arrive you will find a very generous welcome pack which includes tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam, cake, biscuits plus some wine to get your holiday off to a great start.

Further details outdoors: Located on the Amarilla Golf and Country Club Estate, "Fairways" offers a secure development with a stream flowing through beautiful sub tropical gardens. It has the best heated swimming pool for miles, with a children's pool which is monitored all day by a professional life guard. In the centre there is an island bar which serves food throughout the day and for the very lazy there is a service right to your poolside sunbed.
On site there is a quality a la carte restaurant, car hire plus a couple of bars. Adjacent is a well stocked supermarket, delicatessen, laundry, sports bar and even more restaurants. On site there is a junior play area equipped with safety flooring, climbing frame, swings, slide and occasional bouncy castle.
You will also find several ping pong and football tables plus an entertainment room with computers and internet access. Thus the accommodation and resort are particular are particularly popular with families and those who just want a quiet haven to enjoy both the sun and scenery.

Guestbook for Luxury ground floor apartment
Stayed here with friends in 2009 and found it was in a tranquil setting. The interior was comfortable and very clean. Eat from the BBQ most nights and as the sun set the view of the little villages lighting up was stunning. The pool was very clean and whole of Fairways had a quality feel. Great holiday.
