Fairways is a small private development built in the Adulucian style and is gated for security and exclusivity.
The apartment is privately owned and fully equipped. It is decorated and maintained to the highest standards. It benefits from being beside the pool but is raised for privacy. The large terrace has loungers is south facing for all day sun and split into two areas, one being shaded - absolutely ideal for the fairer skin or hotter days.
The apartment was totally refurbished in 2009 and now has air conditioning and free WiFi.

The Tenerife region
Fairways is situated on the southern Costa de Silencio coastline. Twenty miles to the north is the Mount Teide volcano (the highest mountain in Spain) with many walking trails and climbs. A few hundred metres to the south is the rugged Atlantic coast with dramatic coastal walks. Here the beaches are dark volcanic shingle, but a short distance away in both directions you will discover safe sandy ones. Nearby is Los Abrigos, renowned for its many fresh seafood restuarnts which surround a picturesque harbour. It is only a short drive away but can also be reached by the new coastal walk from Fairways.
Amarilla Golf / Fairways area
The Estates facilities include more swimming pools, golf courses and tennis courts. Local activities include horse riding, cycling, coastal woalks and from the new Marina (5 minutes walk) windsurfing, jet skis and scuba diving. There is a free children's entertainer and an outdoor play area with safety flooring, climbing frame, swing, ping pong, slides and more.
Fairways is actually situated in the middle of two championship Golf courses (Amarilla & Golf de Sur) and the Amarilla clubhouse is within easy walking distance.
For designer shopping or a hectic nightlife, Las Americas and Los Cristianos is about a 15 minute taxi ride away
How to get there
Tenerife South Airport (TFS) is a 15 minute taxi ride away and cost is about 10 -15 euro. Alternatively a Hire car can be arranged to be delivered to you on arrival.

Further details indoors: There is a bright and spacious lounge with digital English TV,DVD, CD player and stereo. Venitian tiles cover the floor and all rooms have ceiling fans. Bathroom is bright & airy plus has hairdryer. The modern kitchen is electric and fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. For the more energetic who do not want to use the laundry there is a washing machine, iron, board and clothes drier. There is more than enough kitchenware and when you arrive there will be a welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc to greet you.
Fairways is ultra safe and secure, but apartment has an electronic safe for peace of mind.
Further details outdoors: Located on the Amarilla Golf and Country Club Estate, "Fairways" offers a secure development with a stream flowing through beautiful sub tropical gardens and the best swimming pool for miles. It is heated, has a children's area and is monitored all day by a professional lifeguard. In the centre there is a island bar which serves food during the day - for the very lazy there is a waitress poolside service direct to your sunbed !
On site there is a quality restaurant, carhire and several bars. Adjacent is a supermarket, delicantesen, laundry, a take away, video hire,sports bar and more restuarnts.
There are free organised children's activities and a new junior play area equipped with safety flooring, climbing frame , slide, ping pong, table football, swing and occasional bouncey castle.
Consequently the accommodation and resort are particularly popular with families and with those who just want a quiet quality haven to enjoy the sun and scenery.
