Are you looking for a perfect summer holiday including beautiful beaches, an astonishing landscape and an interesting culture to explore at the same time?

The gorgeous island Tenerife combines all of that and even more! Tenerife is probably one of the last European paradise isles. "Fascinating" is the word for this island. It offers lush forests, exotic fauna and flora, deserts, mountains, volcanoes, sometimes snow, incredibly beautiful coastlines and spectacular beaches. Paradise on earth! Due to the mild Tenerife weather throughout the whole year, the island is the perfect holiday destination.

Tenerife offers something for everybody. On warm, sunny days, you can simply enjoy the beach, and take occasional cooling dips in the sea. You can also enjoy hiking, climbing, paragliding, cycling, photography or any other outdoor pursuit that benefits from the wonderful climate and diversity of topography and landscape. Tenerife offers the unique experience of swimming and sunbathing on beautiful beaches while just a few miles away is glistening snow on the crest of Mount Teide (a World Heritage site)

Sun-soaked, sub-tropical, South Tenerife, the largest and most popular of the Canary Islands, part of Spain, but lying just off the coast of Africa which ensures all year sunshine and a near perfect climate.

Amarilla Golf / Fairways area

Fairways is part of the Amarilla Golf & Country Club. It is just a few minutes from the sea and although it has no sandy beach, it does boast some lovely coastal footpaths, winding your way past the Marina, through the village of Golf del Sur, across pebble beaches by the nature reserve of San Blas to maybe enjoy a famous fish lunch, freshly caught by the local fishermen of Los Abrigos.

Fairways itself has its own large heated swimming pool and a children's paddling pool, and during the summer season there are often poolside activities for the children, there is play area for young children, table tennis and a pool table. There is a pool bar as well as three other restaurants on site and many more within walking distance. A well stocked supermarket is on site selling a wide variety of food and goods.

A few minutes away, just bordering the sea lies the "Amarilla Golf and Country Club". This eighteen-hole course enjoys the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, which inspired the golf architect David Steel. Surrounded as it is by barrancos and residential developments the course provides a stern challenge for the professional golfer, while at the same time offering an attractive and enjoyable game for those of a more modest ability. The facilities include driving range, putting green, Pro-shop, equestrian centre and Club House with tennis court, swimming pool, bar and restaurant.

Just 15 minutes away is Playa de las Americas, a lively resort with a long, safe sandy beach, an aqua park, the latest theme park new Siam Park, water sports and many restaurants, bars and clubs. Nearby is Los Cristianos, a quieter location, with wide pedestrian shop & restaurant lined streets, a long sandy beach, and the harbour providing ferries to other Islands and the famous whale and dolphin trips.

How to get there

The apartments are just 7km (10-15 minutes) from Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofia) and easy to reach by car or taxi. – (www.multimap.com/s/CXJvDCI0)

Many ‘no frills’ flights are available such as Easyjet (Gatwick) – (www.easyJet.com) Ryanair (East Midlands and Birmingham) – (www.ryanair.com) Monarch (Luton, Birmingham, Manchester). – (www.monarch.co.uk)
Another option to consider is Iberian (Spanish National airline) from Heathrow to Madrid, Madrid to Tenerife although slightly longer in travel time often cheaper in price with good flight times. Flights go to both North and South airports. – (www.iberia.com/gb)

Tenerife has a second airport in the north (Los Rodeos) which is about 45 minutes away from the apartments; directions can be provided by the owners.
