Home description
Situated on the Fairways complex built to resemble a typical Andalucian village, this extensive Suite offers you all you need for a relaxing and luxurious break. The Amarilla suite is air-conditioned for your comfort and is stylishly furnished and equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You may have to fight over one of the bathrooms which has its own 'monsoon' shower !
The Suite was totally refurbished in 2009 and now has free WiFi throughout.
The Suite is all on the ground floor, is of very good size and being south facing the triple sized terrace (largest at Fairways) gets the sun in the summer from 7 in the morning to 9 at night.

The Tenerife region
Fairways is situated on the southern Costa de Silencio coastline.Twenty miles to the north is the Mount Teide volcano (the highest mountain in Spain) with many walking trails and climbs. A few hundred metres to the south is the rugged Atlantic coast with dramatic coastal walks. Here the beaches are dark volcanic shingle, but a short distance away in both directions you will discover safe sandy ones. Nearby is Los Abrigos, renowned for its many fresh seafood restuarnts which surround a picturesque harbour. It is only a short drive away but can also be reached by the new coastal walk from Fairways.
Amarilla Golf area
The Estate's facilities include more swimming pools, golf courses and tennis courts. Local activities include horse riding, cycling, coastal woalks and from the new Marina (5 minutes walk) windsurfing, jet skis and scuba diving. There is a free children's entertainer and an outdoor play area with safety flooring, climbing frame, swing, ping pong, slides and more.
Fairways is actually situated in the middle of two championship Golf courses (Amarilla & Golf de Sur) and the Amarilla clubhouse is within easy walking distance.
For designer shopping or a hectic nightlife, Las Americas and Los Cristianos is about a 15 minute taxi ride away.
How to get there
Virtually all holiday flights go to the Tenerife South Airport (TFS - Renia Sofia) and the Complex is about 10 minute (£10) taxi ride away . Alternatively competitive carhire can be arranged, with vehicle being delivered to you at the Airport

Further details indoors: There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 twin bedded, 1 double and one with both double & single beds - plus an additional single bed which can be requested to increase the capacity of any room. Each bedroom has its own separate air conditioning, TV / DVD and it's own bathroom. Each consists of bath, loo, basin, separate shower cubicle and hair dryer - the largest bathroom even has an additional 'monsoon' shower plus 'His & Hers' hand basins
The lounge has dining table / chairs, leather upholstery, large TV, DVD, Video, radio and CD. There are numerous DVDs & CDs plus a mini library. The lounge leads out onto the huge terrace (largest at Fairways) which is raised for security and privacy. Is very child friendly and has plenty of loungers plus table / chairs for 'al fresco' dining or just that glass of chilled wine as the sun goes down at the end of the day.
The modern kitchen has oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, dish washer plus no end of toasters,coffee makers, juicers, etc. Plus there is a washing machine/ iron / board but for the less energetic there is an on site laundry !
Further details outdoors: Located on the Amarilla Golf and Country Club Estate, "Fairways" offers a secure development with a stream flowing through beautiful sub tropical gardens and the best swimming pool for miles. It is heated, has a children's area and is monitored all day by a professional lifeguard. In the centre there is a island bar which serves food during the day - for the very lazy there is a waitress poolside service, direct to your sunbed !
On site there is a quality restaurant, carhire and several bars. Adjacent is a supermarket, delicatessen, laundry, a take away, video hire, sports bar and more restaurants.
There are free organised children's activities and a new junior play area equipped with safety flooring, climbing frame, slide, ping pong, table football, swing and occasional bouncy castle.
Consequently the accommodation and resort are particularly popular with families and with those who just want a quiet quality haven to enjoy the sun and scenery.

This is the 3rd apartment we have rented at Fairways and is by far the best. Everything you need is here - home from home. Particularly liked the patio with the all day sun. We will definitely be back ! Thanks again.
