About the home

A comfortable, well appointed first floor apartment on the secure "Fairways" complex. The living area consists of an American style kitchen, lounge/diner, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one en-suite with the master bedroom, south facing sun terrace with views of the sea & one of the Amarilla golf courses. The lounge has 2 sofas, one of which converts to a double sofa-bed.

"Fairways" has well kept gardens with a water feature running through the middle & tropical planting. The large, safe pool is attended by a lifeguard & features a small restaurant, "The Island Bar" in the centre. Also on the complex is a childrens play area, bars, restaurants, internet room & free Wi-Fi zone. Cars can be hired from Reception, & opposite is a Supermarket, Launderette, Hairdresser, more bars & restaurants.

From "Fairways" it is only a short walk to the sea, the harbour & a choice of golf courses. Nearby is the Golf del Sur, San Miguel & San Blas offering a further choice of shops, bars & restaurants.

The Tenerife region

“Lovely spacious aparment in a secure complex, ideal for a relaxing family holiday.” We had a fantastic stay at 721 Fairways. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The owners Paul and Judy made the booking easy for us and were very helpful with information about the complex and answered any questions promptly. Fairways is in an ideal location - only about 10 minutes away from the airport. Taxi costs approximately 15 euros. The apartment was lovely with plenty of room with comfortable beds and sofas and was well equiped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. My husband and I used to enjoy a cold beer in the afternoon sunshine on the balcony - bliss! Our 13 year old twin sons had a fabulous time. They met some friends and had lots of fun in the lovely pool. They also enjoyed playing table tennis and playing pool. We had a great time on the Sunday over at the Terrace bar opposite the Fairways. (You can see it from the balcony). They had a bouncy castle, trampoline and swings for the children and there was a live band and a BBQ. It's also a good place to watch the football. They have lots of screens. My husband and children watched a few games over there leaving me to relax on the balcony, soaking up the sun! We also had some really fun evenings in the Premier bar. They have karaoke every evening followed by entertainment acts. My husband did karaoke a few times and a couple of the acts got my children up on stage. It was good fun where everyone (who wants to) gets involved. They do good food there too. We mostly ate at the 9th Hole - fantastic value for money breakfasts and the Sunday roast was gorgeous. The Island bar was great in the day for snacks, drinks and ice-cream for the kids. We stayed in a couple of nights and got a takeaway pizza from the Palms across the road which was very tasty. The supermarket across the road is very handy and well equiped. You can get just about everything you need. We had a couple of walks to Golf Del Sur which is about a 10-15 minute walk and we went to the San Blas centre - which is good to do a bit of shopping. They also have a Hipo Dino there (supermarket). Weather was hot and sunny (with a lovely breeze) most of the time, apart from a few cloudy days but still warm. Brilliant holiday from start to finish, definately recommended especially if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. Excellent for families. We would most certainly return to Fairways and book apartment 721 again.

“Dont think about it just book it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Just reterned from a great wks holiday in Tenerife weather HOT Apartment was exellent couldnt have wanted for more,great location, plenty of bars, good supermarket across road ,only five mins to the ,sea and golf course. Nice steady walk into san Blas, take care put plenty of SUN screen on as the wind will help to tan you(or should i say burn you) I went with my two yonger sisters and had a blast didnt stop laughing all week, going to book for next year without a doubt, may go a little later April i think then it will be a bit warmer in uk when we get back instead of SNOW.I would advise plenty of my family and friend to book the apartment as its ideal for kids , havent got a bad thing to say thanks again Paul and Judy for a great holiday.

“721 Fairways was comfortable and spacious, in a nice resort with a good view.” We found the owners Paul and Judy very friendly and helpful, the apartment was ideally situated and comfortably spacious for upto 4 visitors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The resort had a good size pool with ample sun beds, and was well serviced by the pool bar who's happy hour lasted from 2.30 to 4.30pm. We have been to Tenerife on many occasions, but still found a hire car to be an advantage in getting to the commercial centre of San Blas, where we generally ate in the evening while being entertained by the live singing acts. The area has built up very nicely over the past 10 years and is self sufficient in bars, restaurants and entertainment, whilst avoiding the over commercialism of neighbouring Cristianos and Las Americas, which are only 15-20 minutes away by car. We all had an exceptionally good week which was helped even more by glorious sunshine and temps up in the 70's.

“Easy to book, easy to find, great accommodation on a family friendly secure apartment complex.” Apartment was at the quiet end of the complex - it is well equipped and very comfortable for a family of 4 and was spotlessly clean. The provision of childrens beach toys was gratefully used! The pool and surrounding area was fantastic for our 5 year old twins - they made lots of friends and loved wandering over to the island for a poolside ice cream - and hubby loved the poolside drinks service! It is however right next to the airport - but we did quickly get used the planes going over the corner of the complex to land. We felt that a car was necessary as we like getting out and about and getting a good feel of the area - but most people we met were very happy staying within the complex for the week - around the pool area in the day and enjoying the bars and restaurants with varied entertainment provided in the evenings - we saw spanish dancing, singing, guitar playing and a magician who did balloon modelling in just 2 nights! Food is solidly english - we had to venture out to los abrigos to get any seafood/spanish and we found some fantastic restaurants in los christianos overlooking the sea. On site amarilla car provided a very easy option for car hire and was a source of great local knowledge. I would definitely recommend driving to the north of the island to see the lush greenery in stark contrast to the rocky barren scenery of the south. We spent a fantastic day at loro park with the orcas and dolphin shows being our favourite. The roads were very easy and it look less than 1.5 hours to get there. Great holiday for winter sun - easy from start to finish - definately recommended.

“Great resort with a lovely clean, spacious apartment” We returned to Fairways for our second year running after having such an amazing time in 2011 - we were not disapointed second time round either! The apartment was great - spacious, clean, ideal location (good view, easy walk to pool, shops and bars) and well equiped - plenty of kitchen ware :) Booking was easy and friendly with the owners, with plenty of information if this was your first time at Fairways The resort is ideal for families with children - good sized pool, nice kids club(quite and friendly, with indoor and outdoor activities) ,plenty of restaurants with a variety of evening entertainment within easy walking distance also great owners who are friendly and helpful. lBus stop is only a 10 min walk, but I would say to hire a car if you wish to explore the island further. A lovely coastal walk into San Blas for more shops and restaurants only takes around 30min. We would certainly return to Fairways and would book this apartment again.

“Good apartment. good complex and very helpful owners to deal with.” My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay at Fairways. We could not fault the apartment or complex. The staff were very friendly and there are a couple whio live on site who we could contact with any problems. The owners made booking the apartment very easy and straightforward and were very accommodating. We went on a trip which we booked from the complex and were picked up at the resort. The only reason we might not go back is the lack of public transport. The nearest bus is a 15 minute walk away and the buses were not very frequent. If you are hiring a car then the resort is an excellent base with good roads and plenty of free parking. There is good, fairly flat, coastal walking from the resort in both directions and we enjoyed our morning walks and going back to the complex to relax for the rest of the day. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the pool bar serves good food. There is a bar across the very quiet road from the apartment which has the potential to be a bit noisy during high season but it was not a problem when we were there and closed before midnight. I would very much recommend this apartment if you are looking for sun, rest and relaxation.

“Excellent base for exploring the island” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 721 Fairways. The apartment was clean and spacious, with plenty of room for us and two older teenage boys. The second bathroom was definitely a plus. The complex itself was friendly and well maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We hired a car for the week, and although not essential we found it helpful for getting around and seeing the island. There were plenty of good places to eat nearby, all within walking distance, although generally very English. If you're looking for something a bit more Canarian, you need to travel a bit further afield. We found the area good value, with food and drink very reasonable. We would certainly recommend the apartment and hopefully will be back again soon.
