The Canary Islands region

One of the things that makes Tenerife so unique and special is the fact it is dominated by Mount Teide. Surrounded by a unique landscape, the 3,718 metre volcano, which was declared a World Heritage site in 2007, is the centre of the National Park to which it gives its name.

The South of Tenerife is the main point for having fun. Everything is laid out here for you. Kilometre-long beaches of exotic, black volcanic sand, mountains full of tradition and enigmas, and impossible ravines which give rise to springs of water which come down from Teide itself.

With a mere 4 hours flying time from the UK and being on the same degree of latitude as Florida and the Bahamas, why travel further? This sup-tropical Island has one of the finest climates on the planet. Ranging from from the snow capped peak of Mount Teide to the sun drenched beaches of the fantastic coast-line.

Amarilla Golf

Amarilla Golf is part of a well-established, friendly residential community that overlooks the Golf Course and extends around the picturesque coastline. It is only a 15 minute drive from the airport yet enjoys a wonderful atmosphere of tranquillity and natural beauty. Many properties here are now being refurbished by loving Owners which makes this particular area much more desirable.

Amarilla has its' own extensive 18 Hole, Championship Golf Course and is enjoyed by many. The San Miguel Marina attracts a flourishing Sailing Community with their stunning yachts. The new roadway systems, recently upgraded, have dramatically improved access to this region for locals and holiday makers alike and all are enjoying the 'New Look' of this unique and lovely area.

The coastal walks are particularly picturesque. Follow the coast path to the San Miguel Marina and you will find a fantastic choice of Traditional, Mediterranean and Oriental Restaurants, many of which have tables that face out to sea. Continue your walk along the coast to the Commercial Centre of " San Blas" where you will find and array of shops, boutiques, banks, perfumery and several bars and restaurants with evening entertainment. Great for that Night Out! The Taxi rank is also situated here.
