Overlooking the golf course and with breathtaking views to the sparkling ocean and the volcanic Mount Teide, the settings are ideal for a relaxing retreat. And for those who would like to explore the island or enjoy the ever famous nightlife of the southern Tenerife, most attractions and places of interest are easily accessible and within short distance.

The Tenerife region

The amount of attractions and available activities are endless. In the surrounding area by car you have access to activities such as shows, museums, markets, diving, beaches, surfing, boat excursions, fishing, trekking, biking, go-cart, paintball, dancing, gym and exercising, spa, massage, beauty care etc. And within close vicinity you will also be able to visit several animal parks, theme parks, water lands, sports arenas, discos and not to forget, the very popular beach promenade from La Caleta to Los Cristianos. In addition to this, Tenerife also offer attractions as the volcano of Mount Teide, the ancient city of Masca, the wine bodegas in Tacoronte, the exotic valley of La Orotava, the trekking path named Devils Gauge, the rocks of Los Gigantes and much much more.

At Amarilla golf itself, we offer various sports activities as tennis, diving and golf – we actually have our own on-site golf pro who provides lessons and greenfees at a discounted price – both at the challenging championship course and the exciting “pitch & putt”. At the marina you can rent a boat or take classes in diving or sailing, and at the horse stables “Rancho grande” you can sign up for riding excursions or simply admire or help out with the horses.

Amarilla Golf area

Amarilla Golf is situated between the airport and the city of Los Cristianos, which provides easy access to any attraction or place of interest. The residential units are surrounded by the green golf course and lush gardens which makes this a peaceful and charming area, sheltered from the busy motorway and the noisy bars and clubs which so often feel too close when one visit popular holiday resorts. There are bars, restaurants and shops within short walking distance, and the neighbouring area of Golf del Sur is just a short distance away. The two areas are connected by a beach promenade and there you can find all the shopping, activities and nightlife you could possibly need.

How to get there

Set in the Amarilla Golf & Country Club complex in the sunny south of Tenerife, just 10 minutes from the Reina Sofia Airport. Take a taxi from outside of the airport arrival area which will cost approximately 18 euros. Car hire can be easily arranged by us and a representative will meet you at the airport or the car can be collected from our reception.

Enjoy a relaxing , peaceful and carefree holiday.Some of the finest golden sandy beaches on the Island are close to the Amarilla Golf, including the Championship windsufing beach at El Medano and the vast stretch of Playa de la Tejita beach for the real sun worshipers. Both are a mere 10 minutes drive from the Golf.

A five minute journey by car or taxi will take you to the quaint village of
Los Abrigos, renowned throughout the South of Tenerife for its wealth of fish restaurants.
Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas is only 15 minutes drive away.
The adjacent Golf del Sur complex is within very easy walking distance, full of shops, entertainment and restaurants.
