No detail has been forgotten when furnishing our 2nd home which bathes in sunshine throughout the day. You can entertain yourselves on the the 54m2 private terrace with table, chairs, loungers & double hammock. Beautiful panoramic views of the sea and Monchique mountains, or inside the 108m2 apartment. There is a communal swimming pool with private poolside bar that serves a light lunch, snacks & drinks. You are a 10 -15 minute walk from the unspoilt beaches of the town of Alvor. If you are a golfer, Alto Golf Course is only a 3 minute drive away.

Fully fitted kitchen with gas stove, electric oven, extra large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, juicer, blender,coffeemaker and basic cooking supplies, washing machine, iron and ironing board, granite breakfast bar and separate, private terrace. Large dining room with seating for 6 people. Living room with cable and satellite TV, DVD player, more than 200 DVD popular movies, music stereo equipment with CD and tape player, IPOD plug in, air conditioning/heating and pull-out sofa bed (double). Further details

Swimming pool is not heated and open seasonally - usually from April through October. Many loungers are available surrounding the pool area. There is a poolside bar available which serves light meals, drinks and snacks. Taxes and utilities are paid by the owner.

Conditions

Cancellation Policy: Through your arrival date we will refund 50% of your deposited funds unless we can rent out the apartment for approximately the same time period. If we can rent the apartment for roughly the equivalent dates, we will refund all but 100 GBP.

Refundable Security/Damage Deposit: Please understand that it may take us about 2 weeks in order to refund your security deposit as we have to wait for a report from our property manager. We will make every effort to be timely and prompt.

Arrival and Departure Times: Check-in time is after 3 PM, and check-out time is 11am to allow for cleaning.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

Alvor - An ancient coastal village, now a very popular holiday location.  Many of the narrow streets now boast bars with live music and different types of restaurants, but leading off from these there are still memories of the older fishing village.
The village is well located facing a natural lagoon opening onto the sea.  There is a choice of a long open sandy beach or a number of small coves tucked under the cliffs.

Fly to Lisbon or Faro. If flying to Lisbon, hire a car, and it is approximately a 2 hour drive. If flying into Faro, you can either rent a car or take a taxi (approx. 50 euros). If hiring a taxi, ask them beforehand, what the fare will be to the town of Alvor. From Faro to Alvor, it is approximately a 45 minute drive. We will provide driving directions from either airport to our apartment.

“FABULOS APARTMENT SIMPLY THE BEST” this apartment is simply stunning it was just breathtaking to say the least. everyting and I mean everything was there for you. Ther terrace and the hammock was every girls dream.Alvor town was only a ten minute walk away. You didn't need to go to the beach, just sunbathing on the terrace was all you wanted as the sun was there all day. There is a swimming pool on the ground floor which is nice but cold.. I wish all apartments could be as nice as this one. I really,really, didn't want to leave. Congratulations to the owners for having such a wonderful place to stay.

“The place is fantastic and we would highly reccommend it to anyone.” -The condo is beautiful, decorated in modern/contemporary with two bedrooms located at opposite ends with bathrooms for both making it very private for couples and families. The gally style kitchen has every appliance including a washing machine and BBQ outside. It is equipped with every condiment and cooking utensil. It has a granite eating counter that also acts as pass through to the dining/living room area which is very large and equipped with pullout sofas for extra people & a privacy door. -There are spacious closets & cupboards. -There is a TV and movies gallor for entertainment, a complete computer set-up and free telephone calls. There is also air conditioning. -The overly large balcony or terrace stretches from the kitchen around the living/dining area to the master bedroom with doors opening off of all these rooms. It is furnished with tables and lounging chairs and a hammock and lots of plants. The view of the city and the ocean from here is breathtaking! -The owners have created an information binder that is like a bible. It has every bit of information on the area, shopping, sightseeing, eating etc., even phrases in portuguese. The property manager "Ozzie" is fluent in English and a delight. He will give you the keys and all pertinent info. and come to fix anything asap. -There is a pool at the condo but we preferred to go to the beautiful beaches with great sand and spectacular rock formations and little bars along the way. Renting a car is the only way to go as the beach is a 20 min. walk and it's a 10-15 min. car ride into town. Also you can drive the whole Algarve coastal region which is a great trip. We also drove south to Spain, Gibraltar and took the ferry across to Tangiers, Morrocco. Next time, we'll head north. -The Portugese people are very friendly and love to have visitors from other countries and most speak English. The town is kept very clean all the time. We would not hesitate to go back to this condo. Response: We thank our renters very much for the positive comments. However, most renters do not find that a car is required unless they wish to travel the countryside. It is only a 20 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk, not drive, to the village of Alvor.

Just wanted to let you know that we absolutely enjoyed our stay at your place in Alvor. Your condo was absolutely gorgeous and was most accommodating. As you told us, we did not need to bring anything. It was
wonderful to see how clean everything was and all the room we had. We were there from Aug. 19 to Sept. 5th with Marie and Eugene Dubejski, our friends. It was one of our best vacations ever. I will never forget our trip to Portugal. I still dream about it every day and tell all my friends and family about your beautiful condo and how wonderful Portugal is. I love hot weather and let me tell you, I could not have asked for better weather on a vacation. Hot, sunny and wonderful. The beaches are just the best we have ever seen and we have been to Europe before. We enjoyed all the
wine etc., but especially the Monsaraz wine. Wish we could have brought more home. The prices for
wine, beer etc. were unbelievable. My husband and I just cannot stop telling everyone about our wonderful
trip. I am so looking forward to coming back again some day. I told my two sons (21 and 19) that they
would absolutely love it there and hope that they will go someday as well. Unfortunately, it was back to
work the next day as soon as we got back and back to the crazy hectic lives that we live. Thank you again
