Villa Phoenix is set in a peaceful hamlet and enjoys extensive views across the surrounding protected hills and countryside of Penina. The mature, secluded and fenced gardens extend to 1½ acres and benefit from extensive landscaping. Sun terraces and shady retreats abound and are complimented by a purpose built barbecue area.
The spectacular heated pool is a wonderful 16m by 8m, with a bubble jet spa having a waterfall overflow into the pool. The Villa has been furnished with much attention to detail and similar attention will be given to your holiday. Thus, should you so wish, the villa manager can provide evening meals, baby sitting, shopping and other assistance.
Beautiful sandy beaches and many excellent restaurants are within a few minutes drive, as are various sporting facilities (especially golf) and other attractions such as cultural centres, theme parks, boat trips (including dolphin safari) and shopping. Complete each day by falling asleep in one of the English sized beds having chosen your themed bedroom from Egyptian, Moroccan, African or Chinese.

The pool and spa are surrounded by a spacious sun terrace provided with sun loungers and other seating. A pool-side shower is also provided. The main sun terrace, overlooking the front lawn, has a large table and ample seating. Elegant wooden sun loungers on the front lawn and a further lawn ideal for children's games. Purpose built barbecue area adjacent the pool terrace. Shaded seating areas among mature trees and a citrus tree grove adjacent the pool terrace. Substantial entrance driveway and formal flower beds around the property.

Welcome pack on arrival. Maid service once a week. English Villa Manager lives on-site in self contained apartment and, by prior arrangement, will be happy to cook evening meals, undertake shopping, provide baby sitting etc.
Conditions
A 25% deposit is required (or payment in full if less than two months before departure). Balanceof payment required two months before departure. Cancellation refund policy applies.
The Algarve / West Algarve region
The beautiful beaches of Alvor are only 10 to 15 minutes drive away, and those at Meia Praia and Praia de Rocha about 20 minutes. The surf beaches of the wild west coast are about 45 minutes away.
Many first class golf facilities are within easy reach, the closest being the Penina Meridian resort and course which is less than 5 minutes drive from the villa.
In the vicinity there are many traditional fishing villages within a short drive, each with a variety of wonderful restaurants, bars and extensive sandy beaches.
Exclusive shopping from fashionable boutiques to the traditional gypsy markets.
The cultural cities of Lisbon and Seville are within easy reach, experience the history, ambiance and architecture which stem back many centuries.
The Alvor area
Within reasonable driving distance of all of the famous Water Parks, including the chance to swim with the dolphins at Zoomarine. Alternatively, take the superb dolphin safari boat from Alvor.

A very comfortable villa for eight people. It is very well equipped and really feels like a home from home. The swimming pool and spa are excellent for both excercise and relaxation! The location is perfect-nearby there are all the facilities you could wish for but sitting by the pool you feel you are miles away from anywhere. Particularly handy is a very large supermarket and commercial centre-no need to go into town. The villa manager lives on site and is very helpful when needed but otherwise is quite unobtrusive. |
