Home description
Very spacious and tastefully decorated interior. An apartment that is a second home for its owners who have 3 children and happily spend the month of July each year in the wonderful village that is Alvor.
Alvor is a quite fishing village with numerous breathtaking beaches with water sports and boat trips available. On site amenities include a shared swimming pool including a bar with drinks and snacks available, local buses run on regular basis and cost little, local taxis are cheap and available on regular basis.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve enjoys a moderate climate all year round. The gentle sea breeze prevents the Algarve from suffering the humidity of Northern Europe in the summer months.
There is plenty to see and do. Just a 2 hour drive north from Alvor takes you to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and 2 hours in the other direction takes you over the boarder into southern spain.
Alvor / Alto Golf area
Alvor is a beautifully quaint fishing village that boasts excellent cuisine, similiarities have been found with Kinsale, Co. Cork in Ireland.
After dinner there are amazing walks along the pier to relax.
Also the beaches are great with bars and restaurants dotted along it's coastline, each one better than the next.
How to get there
Fly to Faro, 40 minutes away, or Lisbon, 2 hours by motorway. Aer Lingus and Ryan Air both fly to Faro. Rates are very competitive. Flight time approx. 2hrs 30mins. Hire a car or travel by Taxi to Alvor. Try Hertz Car Hire at airport. Advanced booking advised. Rates are reasonable. It is not necessary to rent a car as everything is accessible by foot. If you wish to discover the surrounding area in more detail a car is advisable

I stayed in this apartment last Oct 2007 with my dad and my 3 brothers, it was the best holiday we had in years, the weather was great, got a tan and lost weight from eating all the seafood........Can,t wait to go back,...............G. Upton Dublin
Just returned from Alvor with the wife and 3 kids from a 2 weeks holiday, had a really great time. The apartment was perfect in every way, just a few minute stroll to the town centre and the beach, am thinking of buying a little place of my own there....................Andrew prior...Limerick.
