This single storey cottage/apartment has been refurbished to an exceptional standard with input from an interior designer.Its location is ideal,set in the mature gardens of peaceful Alto Golf,adjacent to the driving range. Yet it is only a few minutes drive from quaint Alvor town/harbour and lively Praia do Rocha.While perfect for golfers,it also meets the needs of families or couples with access to Alto Club facilities,including gym,indoor and outdoor pools,snooker room,bar and restaurant.Vau beach is 7mins walk away. There are 2 bedrooms,a large sofabed in the living room provides an additional double bed.The living/dining room has a breakfast bar opening to the kitchen,which has all mod cons.There are 2 bathrooms,one en-suite.
Patio doors from the livingroom and master bedroom lead to a large double terrace opening on to the large mature gardens and pool area.There is a table and chairs on the patio for outdoor dining, a remote control awning can also be opened to create shade on typically hot portuguese days.

Alvor / Alto Golf area

,The quaint fishing village of Alvor with its long beach and beautiful harbour is an ideal holiday location. There are many fantastic restaurants, all of which are family friendly and offer great value. It is a paradise for seafood lovers, but there is something to suit every taste. The cobbled streets offer local shops selling crafts, jewellery and leather goods, as well as a selection of cafes and bars.For those who prefer lively night life the pubs and clubs of buzzing Praia do Rocha are a 5 minute taxi drive from the apartment. Taxis are also reasonably priced. There are many activities and excursions in the area including the Slide and Splash aquapark ,Zoomarine and the swimming with dolphins excursion. There are cliff walks from Vau beach to Alvor and early morning yoga sessions are also available on Alvor beach. All of these can be arranged locally.As the Apartment is in Alto Golf , golf and tennis are on site. Those interested in a golfing holiday can also receive information from the owner on a further contact who organises golfing packages and trips, on request.

How to get there

Budget flights to Faro available from many uk airports. Ryan air and Aer Lingus flights from Cork, Shannon and Dublin 2 to 3 times weekly.

This is a large, bright property in a beautiful location. The kitchen has a granite worktop,all mod cons and a breakfast bar opening to the living/dining room.The living room has modern decor,a log fire, marble wall mounted heating panels, air conditioning and satellite tv.It also has a 2 seater and 3 seater couch( converts to sofabed), and 2 coffee tables.The bathrooms have wc's marble sink areas,heated towel rails and showers. Bathroom 2 has a bath/shower.Both are decorated in typical portuguese tiling.The master bedroom is en-suite and has patio doors leading to the terrace. The second bedroom has twin beds and ample storsge,both have been beautifully decorated.

The large double terrace opens on to the mature gardens and pool area.There is a pool house with wc and showers and many sun loungers which are freely available. There is both outdoor and underground parking.Tennis courts are on site,golf is also on site. A golf buggy is also available with the property, by prior arrangement.

Changeover day may be flexible, depending on bookings. 20% deposit to be paid on booking(non-refundable), balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Towels and linens (including beach towels )are provided. The property is also cleaned mid-week in stays of 7 days or more.
