This property is set in the most popular part of Alto Golf and Country Club. Just across the drive, is the driving range and tennis court. The club house with it´s 1st .and 19th. holes are a short walk away.

The property is set in beautiful gardens with a lovely communal swimmimng pool surrounded by sunloungers and tables and chairs ,and opportunity to have BBQs. From your balconies you overlook interesting plants, rocks, and you have views over the driving range and towards the blue sea.

And what a beach! The President's Beach, so nicknamed because a previous president of Portugal owns a villa on top the of cliff overlooking the beautiful sandy beach with tall cliffs, with paths past blowholes and stunning views across the coastline. This beach can be reached by a stroll down through pine trees.

The Algarve region

To all sunlovers - The Algarve is THE place in mainland Europe with the best weather summer and winter!
But we do not only have sun.

Firstly the sea - you can laze on the beach, have a dip when it get's too hot - the water is refreshing. Have a go on the pedalloes, ride on the "bananas", hire sailing dinghies or see the caves.

You can go dolphin watching on high speed RIBs, go on a river trip to the historic Silves with its Moorish Castle, or you can go big game fishing. The current European record of a Blue Marlin caught, 385kg, is held here. Most game fish caught are released.

Secondly - we have golf. More Golf courses than you can play on within easy reach. From Portuguese Open Championship courses to par 3, nine hole courses, to the largest fun "pitch and putt"; all for adults and children alike.

The are tennis clubs and lawn bowling, riding, watersports, scuba diving and zoos, beautiful cliff walks along the beaches, country walks in the Monchique mountains with hideaway restaurants and bars.

The historic towns of Lagos - visit the golden church - and Silves - Moorish Castle - are 20 minutes away.

You can have daytrips to the wind worn West coast - surfing mecca of Europe, lovely Lisbon, and super Seville.
Or, for those of us who prefer a slower pace, relaxing days by the pool in a secluded garden with barbeques and a refreshing drink, or two!

Alvor, our local fishing village nestles on the edge of a natural lagoon and nature reserve. It has a wide variety of international and local restaurants and bars along its quaint narrow lanes towards the harbour.

Alto Golf & Country Club sits on the outskirts of Alvor and has many facilities apart from the golf:
Tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, gymnasium, health and beauty salon, restaurants and bars. The grounds are aways immaculate with a riot of colour and there is a pretty walk along a water garden.

How to get there

Many budget airlines fly to Faro International Airport from all over Europe and is an easy 45 minutes drive from the property.
Several hire car companies operate from Faro airport and in the local area.

Downstairs there is a huge master bedroom with a king sized double bed, with a dressing room and large bathroom with bath and shower, and a twin bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. Both rooms have patio doors out to a spacious terrace with sunbeds, not overlooked by anyone.
Upstairs is the hall leading to a well-equipped kitchen, lounge/diningroom with a 42inch TV screen, satelite receiver, and a 3rd bedroom and bathroom. The balcony, with table and chairs, can be accessed from the lounge and bedroom.. The townhouse is well maintained with lovely furniture.
