The village of Alvor with its traditional cottages, cobbled streets, & picturesque harbour area gives Alvor its unique charm and quaintness, all the while boasting a large selection of bars, some with live music entertainment, street entertainment, open air sea-food restraurants and excellent steak houses.
There are facilities for tennis, windsurfing and golfers are well catered for with the local Alto Golf Club and luxury Penina Championship Golf Course. The children will also be kept entertained at the numerous theme parks and water parks such as Slide & Splash, Zoo Marine etc.

All the low cost airlines fly to faro.Alvor is approx 50 mins drive from Faro airport.You can either hire a car,or arrive by taxi transfer,which we can arrange for you on request.
