Oasis Parque has a country club atmosphere with an on-site leisure centre including a huge outdoor pool, children's and toddler's pools, indoor pool with Jacuzzi, tennis courts, children's playground and fully licensed restaurant.

Apartment 108 (first floor right) is a newly built first floor apartment . It is situated at the top of the development in a quiet and private location and enjoys views out over the complex to the Monchique Hills from the balcony. It is only a short stroll from the leisure facilities and has parking at the front of the property.

The apartment has heating/air conditioning units which make it suitable for year-round holidays.

The Algarve region

Oasis Parque is situated in the village of Chao das Donas just outside Portimao. It is very convenient for guests who want to explore both the Central and Western Algarve during their visit. It is also close to the Monchique Hills which can be reached in less than 10 minutes so it is a wonderful area for walkers.

Spring and Autumn are the best times to visit. The winter months are mild and July and August are very hot.


Alvor / Chao das Donas area

Chao das Donas is a small village on the outskirts of Portimao. The village has a number of bars, restaurants, a small green grocers and ice cream parlour. The Portimao retail park is only 1km away and all the items you enjoy at home can be bought here, for a fraction of the price, particularly the wine and seafood!

Alvor (6km away) is a traditional fishing village with cobbled streets full of shops and charming restaurants. Portimao (5km away) is a much larger port and has a stunning new marina area and main beach which stretches for miles.

Praia da Rocha beach, which features in all the holiday brochures is only 5km away and Praia do Vau and the beautiful cove of Tres Irmaos are only 6km away. A regular bus service runs daily for those choosing not to hire a car during their stay.

There are 17 championship golf courses within an hours' drive of the complex, several only minutes away. Guests can receive a 10% discount at the sister resort of Boavista in Lagos upon presentation of their leisure club card.

All the attractions for children in the Central and Western Algarve such as Slide and Splash, Aqualand and Zoomarine are within very easy access via the A22 motorway and can be reached in around 20-30 minutes.

For walkers, the foothills of the Monchique are only a few minutes drive away. The very top can be reached in only 30 minutes. There are also coastal walks nearby, Bergau in the West being particularly attractive.

Oasis Parque is not a development which closes down during the winter months with many British and Portguese people overwintering on the complex. The easy transportation links and availability of all the shops and facilities you can enjoy at home make it particularly suitable for a long winter say.

The apartment has been furnished to a very high standard. For families, there is free use of a high chair and cot available upon request. The apartment faces East and catches the morning sun where breakfast can be enjoyed on the balcony looking out towards the Monchique Hills.

For security, there is a safe in the main bedroom and the property has metal shutters.

The Leisure Centre is secure, having controlled access via swipe cards. It is not overlooked by the general public and is a safe haven for children.

Oasis Parque is set in colourful landscaped gardens. The Reception provides a full range of services including car hire, telephone, fax and internet access, tourist information etc.

There is a fully licensed restaurant on site and there are further restaurants and bars in Chao das Donas village. The development is within 1km of many supermarkets and shopping centres. For those choosing not to drive, there is a small grocery shop within walking distance.

The apartment is a NON SMOKING property and there are NO pets allowed.

PLEASE NOTE: Bookings are accepted solely on the understanding that guests are responsible for any losses or damages to the apartment caused by them during their stay.

The apartment is let on the basis of your accepting liability for any accidents, injury or loss at your own risk.




Conditions

A 20% NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required to secure a booking and payment in full must be received eight weeks before arrival.

If the guest has to cancel, the owner will do their very best to re-let the apartment however they cannot guarantee a full refund, particularly in high season. Therefore please arrange adequate insurance cover for this eventuality.

A minimum of 5 working days is required to process your booking in order for funds to clear and to arrange the necessary cleaning. Guests are kindly asked not to turn up at Reception on the day asking to book the apartment because Reception are not able to handle cash or credit card payments on behalf of the owner. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
