The apartment is located in an enviable location within the Oasis Parque Country Club Resort just 100m from the leisure complex entrance. The front balcony overlooks the swimming pools and is in full sun all day. Being on the second floor allows excellent views of the Monchique mountains from the rear balcony which the bedrooms open onto. Furnished to a high standard the spacious contemporary interior offers large lounge and dining area, separate kitchen, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bidet and second bedroom with twin beds and separate shower room/ wc . Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes The apartment is well equiped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday; satellite TV, DVD player with films, Stereo, paperbacks and games, hairdryers and hairstraightners, even an undercroft garage to keep your car cool and store your beach gear! Towels and Linen provided. Air conditioned bedrooms and heaters for the winter ensure your comfort all year round.

For guests with young children there is a travel cot and bedding, high chair, baby monitor and bottle steriliser for use at no extra charge.

If you like to cook on holiday and take advantage of dining on the balcony there is a fully equiped kitchen with oven, hob, grill, microwave, tall fridge freezer, washer dryer, iron and board, toaster and kettle.

The private leisure area has controlled swipe card entry making it ideal for young children. It is the hub of the holliday with a licenced cafe/bar serving food day and night, it also hosts entertainment in peak season, 3 pools (indoor pool heated in winter), Jacuzzi, play area and tenis courts. The leisure complex closes at 8.00pm providing a tranquil setting which is perfect for a Mediterranean evening meal watching the sun set on the balcony. The Oasis Parque country club resort in which the apartment is located comprises a development of 2 storey villas and 2/ 3 storey apartments in a well landscaped setting. This is ideal for holidaymakers who want the facilities of a hotel in a self-catering holiday. An English representative will greet you on arrival. Bring own beach towels. Plenty of sunloungers around the pools. Local charge payable for replacement of lost leisure club cards or apartment keys.

Located in a village near Portimao, Alvor and Praia da Rocha, nearby there are many established golf courses (closest Penina, 5 mins), beaches (closest Praia Du Vau, Alvor and Praia de Rocha 5-10 mins), shops (closest Portimao mall, 2 mins) and a variety of evening entertainment to suit all tastes. The fishing harbour of Alvor is favoured for sea front restaurants which BBQ the days catch and serve it to you on the sea front whilst the sun sets over the harbour. For lively late night entertainment visit the heart of Praia de Rocha. There are tourist shops in Alvor and Praia De Rocha yet boutiques and traditional shopping in Portimao. A minutes drive from the new Portimao shopping mall.

The location is ideal for families, golfers and couples and is just minutes from the N125 and A22 to make exploring the Algarve accessible- Slide and Splash 10 mins, Aqualand 20 mins, 15 mins to new Autodome and Go-Kart track, 30 mins to Zoo Marine where you can swim with Dolphins, 30 mins to Portugal Zoo. A trip into the Monchique Mountains is just 10 minutes drive and allows you to explore the traditional Portugal and some of the history surrounding its colourful past. The Marinas of Praia da Rocha, Portimao and Lagos are well worth a visit as is the old harbour of Alvor.

The route is well signposted and we provide an information pack with further details on how to get 'door to door'. There are all the main hire car operators at Faro Airport including Hertz, Avis, Europcar, etc but you may decide to go through a local hire car company, which are generally cheaper. The Algarve region

The Algarve sits on the South West tip of Europe with a vary favourable climate and nice warm sunshine throughout the year. Temperatures in August can reach 32 degrees C. Portugal's southernmost tip, the Algarve is bordered by Spain and the Atlantic Ocean.

The beaches of Praia da Rocha, Praia da Vau, Tres Castelos, Alemao, Joao de Arens, Prainha, Tres Irmaos and Alvor are all within 3-5km away whilst visitors to Portimao and Alvor can enjoy strolling through the cobbled streets and squares where there are various shops, street cafes & restaurants leading to the beach front. Alvor was one a quaint fishing village and you can still see the fishermen bringing in their catch at dusk. Local attractions such as Zoo marine, Slide and Splash, water parks, Monchique Mountains and fishing trips / cruises are also available.

Alvor

Oasis Parque is situated in Chao das Donas, a traditional Portuguese village with a selection of local bars and restaurants and a weekly village dance with live music. The Parque is within easy walking distance of Portimao Retail Park and other grocery stores and has good transport links with regular buses to Alvor, Praia da Rocha and Portimao. There is a fully licensed restaurant/pool bar on site. It is not necessary to hire a car to stay at the Parque, however it can be booked at reception

They each have a variety of shops, restaurants & bars to suit all tastes and budgets. 17 Championship Golf courses are within an hour's drive with guests receiving a discount at the sister resort of Boavista Golf in Lagos. There is very easy access to the A22 for those hiring a car. All the attractions in Central Algarve are within 1/2 hrs drive and transfers can be booked at reception

"A thoroughly enjoyable holiday"

The whole booking process with the owner was a pleasure from the start. Great communication and very accommodating. We were a group of two adults a child of 7 and one Senior citizen of 80 years. The complex is easy enough to find from the airport and is very close to the main roads if you want to explore the region. As the profile says you are indeed so very close to the best the Algarve has to offer.
The apartment was all we could have hoped for. It was clean, spacious, well equipped and to have a private parking place in the underground garage was a real bonus. It was a real home from home. The best part was the views. The balcony overlooked the pool and tennis courts so I could watch my son play tennis with my mum every morning.
The complex itself is great. Every morning we played tennis and had a swim in the indoor heated pool and what a pool. Not your tiny gym club pool where four strokes and you hit your head. Oh no this was approx. 20 metres and with a Jacuzzi just beside it. What a way to start the day.
We cant wait till we come here again. Next time we will book for longer than ten days!!
