A spacious and comfortable 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment located in the lovely fishing village of Alvor. We are located within walking distance of the stunning Alvor beaches and the centre of Alvor. The apartment offers stunning views allowing you watch the sun set over the mountains on Monchique in the distance.
Both the beach and the centre of the village are a 2 min car ride or 15/20 min walk away. There are bus routes available near to the apartment or a taxi ride is likely to cost around €3.
There is a swimming pool (located in building next to the apartment) is available all seasonally through the summer with sun loungers and a snack bar.
The apartment comes with Cable Television allowing you to watch TV programmes in English and a DVD player is also available.
- GREAT FOR FAMILIES:
The apartment is especially suitable for families and young children. A cot, potty and booster chair are available if required. There's plenty of space available and no steps for young children to climb. Our 2 year old loves running around the apartment and there is a children's playground just round the corner.
- RESTAURANTS AND CAFES ON YOUR DOOR STEP:
There are 2 highly rated restaurants (The Por Do Sol and Big Reds Steakhouse) restaurants and the newly opened El Prego which serves as bakery, café and restaurant offering great cakes, coffee and authentic Portuguese food – all these are just 2 mins away from the apartment.
- ACCESS:
There is easy access to the apartment for buggies/prams and wheelchairs via a lift that will take you up to the 1st floor.

Arrived easily to a warm friendly welcome. Tea and other essentials greatly appreciated. Walk to the beach kept us fit all week. Also walked to the centre at night and taxi home only cost €3.90. - BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms are spacious equipped with a double bed and plenty of storage. There is a travel cot available that can be easily added into the either of the rooms. We also have 2 fold down single beds available to use if needed. An additional single bed can be added to either of the main bedrooms or the main living area.
- BATHROOM
There is a family sized bathroom available which is equipped with a shower, toilet and bidet. A hair dryer is also supplied.
- ADDITIONAL WC/SHOWER ROOM
There is a shower room/toilet available in addition to the main bathroom.
- LIVING AREA:
There is a large lounge/dinning room with two 2 seater sofas and a dining table that can seat at least 4 people. Cable TV and a DVD player is available. The patio doors open out onto the balcony.
- KITCHEN
We have a spacious, modern and fully equipped kitchen which includes a fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, washing machine, espresso coffee maker, toaster and kettle. There is a table and four chairs giving you plenty of space to enjoy your breakfast whilst taking in the view. The patio doors open out onto the balcony. A clothes dryer and iron/ironing board are supplied
All rooms come with shutters covering the patio doors/windows.
The Algarve / West Algarve region

The Alvor area
Alvor is a small coastal fishing village that oozes charm. People return here time and time again to enjoy the easy way of life and to sample the superb local Algarvian Fare in the many restaurants. Or you may choose to stroll through the picturesque streets window shopping, listening to the musicians in the town square or enjoy a drink in any of the several bars. Alvor beach is the most photographed beach in the world.
A day trip to Slide and Splash, Aqualand, Zoomarine or a Jeep safari can can be organized from Cats in the village centre. There is a local sports centre with Heated Indoor Pool, Tennis Courts and Soccer pitch.
Praia da Rocha famous for its night-life and Casinos is a 10 minute drive away.
Lagos, Silves and Loule are all worth a visit and for the shopaholic the Algarve Shopping Centre near Albuferia is a 30 minute drive away.
Taxi transfers from the airport cost €75 approx. and car hire is available locally and from Faro airport.
Golf:
Alvor is a golfers haven being ideally situated in the midst of many championship courses.

This apartment was a real gem. On arrival it felt like it was a little out of town however this ended up being a blessing! Its a 15 minute walk, 5 minute drive or a cheap taxi ride to the town centre or the beach. This meant my family and I had all the convenience of the lively town close by and then headed home for a peaceful nights sleep as this apartment as is not overlooked and in a quiet cul de sac. Parking was easily available, the shared pool area was great and the local steak house at the end of the street served up great food. Would definitely stay again. |

A non refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation with the balance of 70% to be paid 6 weeks before arrival.
Refundable breakages deposit of £100 is required on payment of the balance which will be refunded within two weeks of your departure subject to satisfactory property inspection. Where the damage exceeds £100 then the difference must be paid before departure.
