Casa Sofia is located near Alvor, a pretty fishing village with the best choice for restaurants in the Algarve! Alvor beach boasts kilometres of golden sand where you'll find a private spot to unfurl your towel!!!!

Casa Sofia is ideal for a family as the garden is secure and the house is situated in a cul de sac, in a residential area. Peaceful but only a few minutes away from the lively centre of Alvor.

Bedroom 1: King size bed, patio door on to sun terrace. Large shower room en-suite with His and Hers washbasins, bidet, electric towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Double bed, large wardrobe. Electric shutters.
Bedroom 3: 2 single beds, large wardrobe. Electric shutters.
Bedroom 4: 1 single bed, wardrobe. Extra TV. Electric shutters. Can be used as games room for children.
Cot can fit in any of the bedrooms.
Family bathroom: bath, with His and Hers washbasins, toilet and bidet.

The kitchen is large with eating area. It is fully equipped fit for any Master chef. You will find a large selection of pots and pans.

ALL windows have mosquito nets.

Large secluded terrace with BBQ area, equipped with a large table and chairs, comfortable garden furniture. (1 sofa, 2 armchairs)

Single secure garage with automatic door.

Maid service mid week for 4 hours.

Golf courses are close by and green fees can be arranged.

Prices are inclusive of water, electricity and gas.
Your villa is reserved from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. On the morning of departure, we ask you to vacate the property by 11.00am to give us time to prepare for the next guests. When possible, we can be flexible on times of arrival and departure.

Montes de Alvor is 2 min away from Alvor, lovely fishing village with a long sandy beach.

Portimão, only 5 minutes away, has lots of shops in the old part of the town ,and a new shopping centre has opened end of 2011 with 3 floors shops.

Alvor offers a great choice of local cuisine with the smell of grilled fish along the harbour.

Great pedestrian streets where to cool down after a hot day in the summer.
Half a dozen Golf courses within 15 minutes.

From the Faro airport, follow the A2 motorway, direction Albufeira/Portimão to exit " Alvor". Go straight at the next 2 round-abouts following direction to Alvor. You will pass a little airfield on your right when arriving Montes de Alvor. Right after going over the second "sleeping policeman", turn left to the "Santo Antonio" area. Turn right at the next little round about. The house is the third one to your left, nº52, across the tennis courts.
If you do not want to take the motorway, take the direction of Albufeira/Portimão and just follow the national road (EN 125) to the sign "Alvor", just after you have passed Portimão.

“Great accommodation - home from home - fab owner” A real gem - so much so we are going back again this year. Alvor is a lovely village, very friendly with many places to visit. For kids there is an amazing huge inflatable in the sea - which only cost 5 euros for an hour off-peak and 1/2 hour peak season. A must do restaurant Raccula for wonderful food which the children loved ! Not cheap but worth every penny. Must book early.
