About the home

A 1 bedroom apartment in a very popular condiminium,on the 1st floor, with balcony offering views of both the sea and the pool. within very easy reach of the beach and the town.Situated on a secure gated community with adult and toddler pool. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and open plan lounge/ dining area/ kitchen. The balcony has both sea and pool views and seating for 4. Situated a short walk from the beautiful beaches and the town of Alvor. The apartment has lift and stairs access, so is suitable for all. This apartment is in a secure and gated community, only accessed by key/fob. 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Alvor’s wonderful sandy beach is 4km long, unspoilt and amongst the best in the world and only 300m from our apartment. It has about half a dozen well placed beach bar/restaurants. Water sports are available at the beach and kite surfing is very popular.

Prices are for the property per week in poundsand include a welcome pack. Deposits are non refundable if your reservation is canceled. Special offers for long term lets during winter and spring.
A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking to confirm reservation. With the balance of 75% to be paid 6 weeks before arrival unless by prior agreement. Payment is by cheque, or bank transfer. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation requests at our own discretion. A basic welcome pack , is included in the rental price .
English speaking manager available .
Change over day is flexible. Check in is after 2pm on arrival day, and check out is before 10am. Other arrangements are possible if no other guests are coming in/going out the same day.

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
25% deposit of rental fee , balance due 8 weeks before arrival
There is a lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The western algarve has some fantastic blue flag beaches, quaint fishing villages and if you take the time to leave the coast , and travel inland, some of the most breathtaking scenery, with friendly locals , all the way.
There is a wonderful mix of traditional and modern, with several excellent shopping centres, and the town centre shopping , such as Lagos.
For the kids there is Zoo marine, Slide and Splash, Aqua land, the sand sculptures and many more.
For the sports fans there is unlimited golf on superb courses,many water sports available , mountain biking, and lovely walks in the mountains and along the coast.
And why not treat yourself to a hot air balloon ride or a coastal flight.

The Alvor / Vila da Praia area

Alvor is a lovely fishing village , that has managed to retain it's charm, it has a harbour area, which is great to have an evening stroll or just sit in the sun watching the world go by, with a cool drink.
The town of Alvor is a 10 miute walk from the apartment, and has all you need for your holiday.
A 15 minute drive to the nearest golf course and about 12 more within 30 min drive.
300m to beach.
15 mins drive to the water park Slide and Splash, 25 mins drive to the fabulous Oceanic Park Zoo Marine, a short taxi ride from nearby Praia de Rocha (we have walked this), 10 mins drive to Portimao and 15 mins drive to Lagos which both have great shopping areas with designer shops.

“Excellent apt, great location” The apartment was ideal for all amenities in Alvor and for accessibility to a fantastic beach - you could walk for miles! It was a home from home with a supermarket and a range of fabulous restuarants nearby. It was in a quiet location and was ideal for all age groups. Debby was there to welcome us and was on hand if needed. We ahd a fantastic holiday, and look forward to going back to Vila de Praia.

“Lovely apartment with everything you need” This is the 7th time we have been to Alvor and this was the best apartment we have stayed in out of all our visits. The apartment is very clean and spacious and has everything you need. It is very conveniently placed for all the local restaurants and bars and a short stroll from the beach. It has a nice sized furnished balcony that overlooks the pool. We were unlucky with the weather whilst we were there but we didn't mind staying in the apartment too much on the odd day as it was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Debby Burton was very efficient and approachable in her role of manager and we certainly hope to be returning to this apartment next year. We would return there this year but the apartment is booked for the times we would like.
