Situated within 5 minute drive from the village of Alvor where there are numerous bars and restaurants and a 5 km blue flag golden beach. This new townhouse is ideal for two couples who like a quiet location with some beautiful views. Villas Patricio boasts 5 balconies with a large roof terrace where you can enjoy a barbecue with a glass of vinho verde( local ' green wine') .

The Algarve region

Surrounded by hills in the north, the Algarve has a fantastic climate, stunning scenery and warm welcoming people. With white washed villages, dramatic coastline and history dating back to AD711, the Algarve has something for everyone. Places of interest include Sagres, where Henry the Navigator built a school of navigation; Lagos, which is an attractive town with a fortress, museum and the beautiful church of St Antonio;
Silves, which has a red moorish sandstone castle; Monchique mountains which have spectacular views (1,500 ft) and at Caldas de Monchique a delightful tiny spa is set in the foothills of this peaceful wooded area. The Algarve is blessed with a warm and wonderful climate thanks to the warm sea and air currents from nearby North Africa.


Alvor / Montes de Alvor area

Alvor is situated just 1 mile from the house.This pretty fishing town of white houses is popular with couples and families. Once a Roman port and later a moorish town of Al-Bur, Alvor boasts a fantastic blue flag beach where you can simply sunbathe, try a watersport or just sit at one of the many beach restaurants and take it easy . Walking through Alvor there are numerous restaurants and bars, many with outside seating. During July and August there are many festivals throughout the Algarve, representing their culture and religion.
Driving half an hour from Alvor there are two water parks, zoo marine and other family attractions. Shopping is not far away with Portimao boasting many individual shops, a marina and a wonderful new fish market ( Fresco de Madrugada fish stall recommended )
