About the home

This duplex apartment is fully equipped with all the conveniences for modern living, tastefully decorated throughout and is particularly suitable for families with children. The gardens have a children's playground and communal barbecues. The balcony overlooks the pool as well as having uninterrupted seaviews. A car is not required. It is only a 10 minute walk to either the magnificent beach or the town centre. The restaurants, bars, nightclubs and not forgetting great golf courses are all nearby providing entertainment for everyone.

This is a very spacious, tastefully decorated interior with a separate television viewing area and open plan kitchen/living room. There is a spacious family bathroom downstairs (with bath & shower) and a shower room upstairs with wc & sink. The kitchen is really well equipped, as we are keen cooks ourselves! Bed linen & bath towels are provided. Also, as an extra we provide swimming towels. Cool box, umbrella and childrens toys for the beach are also available should you need them.

Further details outdoors:
The balcony area has a built in couch for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sea views. The balcony also overlooks the swimming pool (children's and larger pool). There is a lovely quiet garden to the back of the complex with swings and seesaw. The communal barbecue area is also located here. The gardens are beautifully maintained as is the whole complex.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The Algarve has some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Portugese people are friendly and helpful the food is great and the wine is not bad either!! All in all the Algarve, particularly ALVOR is a great holiday destination offering everything needed to ensure a wonderful break.

The Alvor / Marachique area

The ancient coastal village of ALVOR is now a very popular holiday destination. It is well located facing a natural lagoon opening onto the sea. It has a long open sandy beach and a number of small coves tucked under the cliffs. ALVOR'S maze of cobbled streets is full of busy restaurants, many barbecuing outside and it is known for its excellent nightlife.
There are at least 7 golf courses within a 15-20 min. drive, e.g. Alto Golf, Penina Golf, Morgado, Palmares, Boavista and Pestana Pinta.
Aqualand in Armacao de Pera - lots of fun and excitement for the children!
A day out for all the family at the biggest Water Park in Portugal
Wave Pool, Flying Carpets, Raging Rapids, Kamikaze & more!

Fly to Lisbon or Faro.
If flying to Lisbon, hire a car and it is approx. 2 hr drive to Alvor
If flying to Faro, you can either hire a car or take a taxi (enquire beforehand as to fare to Alvor).
It is approx. a 45 minute drive to ALVOR.
