About the home
New 2 bedroom apartment in the new, high quality development of Clover Court. The complex is in Didim/Altinkum on Turkey's beautiful Aegean 'Turquoise Coast'.
The apartment is a luxurious home from home, fully furnished and equipped. It has modern quality furniture, air conditioning, t.v, DVD/ CD player, full fitted kitchen with a hob and a microwave oven, fridge, washing machine, Ironing board. The bathroom has a power shower. There is also a travel cot.
The electricity and water use a pre pay top up card which guests will need to top up. Next year I will pay in advance and this will be free for guests staying in 2013.
The apartment is situated on the ground floor, raised up a few feet off the ground, and overlooks the large swimming pool. It has a lovely balcony which runs right across the front of the apartment allowing access from the living room and the bedroom. The sun is on the balcony from the afternoon. The balcony is provided with table and chairs so you can sit out and relax in the sun.The apartment sleeps up to 6 . There is a double bed in the main bedroom, and two single beds in the second bedroom and both bedrooms are complete with wardrobe and chest of draws. There is also a comfortable double sofa-bed in the living room. It has a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen. The bathroom is well appointed and has a luxury power shower. Towels are supplied for your use in the apartment.
It is air conditioned and all of the bedding is supplied.
Clover Court is a small and friendly resort which caters for families and couples with its lovely swimming pool (with separate children's area), bar/ restaurant, and a small children's play area. The pool can be used from 1st May till October, after this the pool is drained.

The apartment is on the ground floor but slightly raised off the ground. There is a great view of the pool from the balcony. There are comfortable chairs and a table in place for your use so you can sit and read, have a snack or chill out with a drink day or night.
There is a small children's play area. The bar provides sun loungers and table and chairs which enable you to enjoy relaxing around the pool.

A lovely pool, and a small pool for children. The complex has 24 hour security. There is a cafe bar around the pool at the complex, meals are served. There is a children's play area with slide and climbing frame, and a crazy golf course will soon be made in the complex.

My rental rate is a lot lower than comparable apartments at Clover Court or in Altinkum. I do this because I believe in being fair. The cost covers the apartment which is fully furnished, I pay for the apartment to be cleaned, guests need to pay for electricity and water using the pre payment cards at the apartment.
The complex has rules which ensures the enjoyment of people who are on holiday, there is 24hr security.

The Aegean Coast region
Altinkum is an excellent, established resort town on the Aegean Coast and Didim merges with Altinkum, being slightly set back from the seafront. Didim is being gradually developed with high quality holiday complexes, but not over-developed or congested. Didim mixes holiday-makers with local Turkish people, to give you a true feel of being in Turkey while having all the benefits of an excellent holiday.
Altinkum has 3 large beaches with shallow water, and the main promenade offers a huge choice of cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a regular Dolmus minibus service which runs through Didim to Altinkum's beaches and the town and back every 10 min in the summer, as well as local taxis. Many of Altinkum's restaurants also offer a car service which will pick you up from Clover Court and drop you back there later. This is an excellent service and is free of charge!!

Altinkim by day is glorious with its beaches, shops, markets, cafes, bars and restaurants. You can also book a boat trip or participate in water-sports. There is an Aquapark nearby and historic sites such as the famed Apollo temple.
At night Altinkum comes to life. There are a variety of restaurants, including English, Chinese, Italian, Turkish and Indian. There are English bars, authentic Turkish entertainment, or little Turkish restaurants on the beach.
Didim has a range of very good restaurants and bars within walking distance of Clover Court. Didim town centre also offers genuine Turkish food which is both very good and very cheap.
Food drink and shopping are all good in Turkey, plus the exchange rate is very good. Its like Spain was 10 years ago, being great value for money.
There are excellent local supermarkets and a huge range of shops selling everything you could want. Didim has a huge weekly market on a Saturday packed full of bargains. It's a great experience to visit this authentic Turkish market. There are lots of banks and plenty of cash machines to draw money when you want.

The supermarket is a 2 minute walk down the road from the Panormos Hotel providing you with your daily needs and much more.

Archaeological site of the Roman Empire. Ephesus is the best preserved classical city of the Eastern Mediterranean and among the best places in the world enabling one to genuinely soak in the atmosphere of Roman times. The trip to Ephesus is also available on a package trip including Pamukkale.
*Pamukkale
Cascading water from the cliffs forming crystallised, frozen waterfalls. The thermal waters have been used for therapeutic treatments since the Roman period. Enjoy the therapeutic hot spring waters.
*Jeep Safari*
An adventurous day out on four wheel drive vehicles. Taking you through olive groves and hillsides to other turquoise bays for swimming. See the little typical Turkish villages where you will experience the true Turkish living.
*Adaland Aqua Park*
A must for the whole family. This aqua park is one of the largest in Turkey with lots of different slides for all. Dare you try the 'Black Hole' and the 'Kamikaze'. It also includes a large wave pool and all pools/slides are supervised by life guards.
*Altinkum Aqua Park*
Just outside of Altinkum, Not as big as Adaland Aqua Park but only 10 minutes up the road on the Dolmus.
*Fishing boat trip*
Fishing rods reels provided. Sail to calm waters and catch some of the splendid fish the Aegean seas hold.
*Turkish Bath*
Relax. Starting with a lovely sauna on a marble table, head shampoo massage and after some relaxation time, the oil massage. Relax!

The bus runs every 3-5 minutes. There are bus stops situated along the road, but if you are not at a bus stop, all you need to do is put your hand out and the bus will stop.
The supermarket is a 2 minute walk down the road.

lovely apartement, best in the complex. right next to the bar and pool. I dont understand how the other person heard any noise as we had a peacful night sleep throughout our stay. The apartment was immaculate and the air con was adjustable to our liking. Absolutely amazing, the staff were also very helpful and friendly, everything was within close proximity. Couldn't fault it. The owner of the appartement (bill aunger) phoned us the day of arrival to make sure everything was ok which i thought was a nice touch, we will definately be returning. Response: Thank you for your review. Its a shame some other person gave a poor review which was untrue, the falt was with ASEM who put them in the wrong apartment, I even gave them a refund when it wasnt even my fault! I am pleased you enjoyed your stay. I go every year with my family and all enjoy ourselves. You are most welcome to come again. Thank yoy |
