About the home

Blue Bay Park is located just 15 minutes walk/800m from the picturesque Mavisehir beach on the outskirts of the provincial town of Didim.

Blue Bay Park is is quiet and peaceful, yet only a short car/bus/taxi journey from the nightlife and beach of Altinkum, Temple of Apollo, Aquapark , shops/restaurants/bars and market for bargain hunting.

Blue Bay Park has a large Shared Pool that is available during the Summer Season (May-October), Children's Play Area and 24hr Caretaker.

I recommend that you hire a car for maximum personal comfort.

The apartment is serviced by Didim Maintenance Services - a company run by a British couple resident in Didim. At the time of booking we can also instruct Didim Maintenance Services to arrange your Airport transfers, Excursions, Car Hire Welcome Pack of essential groceries, Special Needs and a 24 hour meet and greet service to ensure that you have a stress free stay at Blue Park.

KITCHEN
The Kitchen is fully equipped with Gas/Electric Cooker/Oven, Fridge/freezer, Cutlery, Pots and Pans, Kettle, Toaster, Iron/Board and Shopping Trolley. There is a comprehensive BIM supermarket and AKPET petrol station located near the complex on the main road - Everything that you will need for a great self-Catering Holiday.

There is a notice board for you to keep useful information such as restaurant information - many of whom have a home delivery service and/or operate a complimentary pickup and drop service.

LOUNGE
Comes complete with two 3 Seater Sofas that pull out into double beds and sleep a person each with storage underneath, Coffee table, TV, DVD Player, Air con unit, Pedestal Fan and Lamp for romantic mood lighting.
There are Sliding Patio Doors leading to a private Sun terrace with a side views of the pool. There is a Garden table, 6 chairs, 4 Sun loungers with cushions, Parasol and a Charcoal barbecue and cooking equipment so that you may dine al fresco. The terrace also has an outside light, power socket and hose tap.

BEDROOM 1
Double Bed, Double wardrobe, Bedside cabinets and Bedside lamps.

BEDROOM 2
2 Single Beds, Double Wardrobe, Bedside cabinets and Bedside lamps.

BATHROOM
Basin, W.C., Shower Cubicle, Clothes Drier, Washing Machine and wall mounted Kombi Boiler providing hot water to the apartment.

All bed linen and towels will be provided by Didim Maintenance Services.

All of the windows and patio doors have metal security grilles and mosquito nets that allow you to keep them open but maintain your personal security.

A 25% deposit of the agreed rental fee will secure you booking.

The remaining 75% of the agreed rental fee and refundable breakages deposit of £100 must be paid prior to your departure.

A Didim Maintenance Services booking form must be completed in order to determine your requirements for your stay at Blue Bay Park. The Apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and all bed linen and towels will be provided.

The Aegean Coast region

Didim is a provincial town of the county of Aydin, Turkey. It is a peninsula that extends into the Aegean sea and it is surrounded by Soke in the North, Mandalya Bay in the South, the Aegean sea in the west, and the lake of Bafa and the county of Milas in the east. Didim is one of the most important and favourite tourism centres in the area with its coastal ribbon that stretches as far as 80 km.

The climate of Didim generally carries the typical Mediterranean characteristics.

Didim Altinkum is a small popular resort situated on the Aegean coast of the centre of Didim. The name of Altinkum translates to golden sand and this resort of Altinkum certainly lives up to its name with three long smooth golden beaches, the sea of Altinkum is shallow for quite a long way out. The numerous restaurants cater for everyone - there are traditional restaurants with wood fired ovens and charcoal barbeques, restaurants offering either Ottoman or British cuisine alongwith lively entertainment, there is an Indian and Chinese restaurant, a 24x7 Burger King and a Pizza Pizza. Almost all restaurant offers a packet servis where food can be ordered over the telephone and delivered to your aparatment or a courtesy pick and drop service. Altinkum beach has a funfair, marina and numerous night clubs.

Mavisehir, where the apartment is located, is a much quieter resort and offers waterfront restaurants with enclosed children's play areas, a vibrant market, a central park and the opportunity to fish in the Aegean Sea.

You can get to Blue Bay Park by flying to Bodrum Airport or Izmir Airport and getting a transfer from there to the complex. Bodrum Airport to Didim is 95Km and the transfer time takes approximately 60 minutes. Izmir Airport to Didim is 150Km and the transfer time takes approximately 90 minutes.

Bodrum Airport is served by Thomas Cook, Thomson Airways, Onur Air, Easy Jet, Monarch, Pegasus and Turkish Airlines.

The apartment was clean and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival Alan and Pat made sure we had everything in place for a hassel free stay and were very helpful. They said we could give them a call anytime should we need to but we didnt. There is a really helpful and friendly caretaker within the complex who also welcommed us. The pool is really good at Blue Bay Park and is the focal point for the complex. The location is good as its not too far to Altinkum (15 mins local bus) where all the bars and nightlife is but is also located away from the tourist hustle and bustle where the cleaner and quieter beaches are located. I would not hesitate to visit Blue Bay Park again for a chilled out holiday.
