Altinkum has 3 beautiful beaches, all well maintained with sunbeds/parasols for hire and watersports available. The compact town centre means that everything is within easy walking distance, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is always friendly and the people are very welcoming. The resort has a variety of amenities, making it appealing to a wide age range - offering everything from a traditional Turkish Bath to all night clubbing. The restaurants offer a wide range of cuisine, with most providing a selection of English, International and Turkish dishes. There is also an Indian and a Chinese restaurant in the resort.
Altinkum / Didim area
When shopping, remember to haggle - it's expected and it's fun!! You will find bargins everywhere but particularly in leather goods, onyx and jewellery. The location of Altinkum makes it an ideal base for tours to explore the heritage and culture of Turkey. A visit to Ephesus to take in the splendor of Asia's greatest Roman City with its large open-air museum or a visit to Pammukale to relax in the thermal springs renound for their helpful therapy and Apollo Temple just a few minutes up the road. For the more energetic of you, particularly the kids, there is a water park which can be reached quite easily on the dolmus minibuses for a small charge.

Furnished to a high standard with all mod cons, including TV DVD player and satelite. A fully equipped kitchen with full size Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Toaster, Kettle, Iron and Ironing board. Air Conditioning is included in the rental cost, so no hidden extras. All windows are PVC and fitted with mosquito nets. Apartment balconies have higher railings for added security..

We can be flexible on changeover days. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable six weeks before departure. A £75 refundable deposit is also required at time of final balance in case of breakages, this will be refunded on your arrival back home once the apartment has been checked.

Had a great relaxing holiday. This is the first time we've booked an apartment online and we didn't really know what to expect so we were delighted when we arrived to find that it matched our expectations. We thought the apartment was fantastic, really spacious,airy and well equipped. We particularly liked the location, right next to the small pool. We did use the main pool and bar at times and the Turkish evenings especially were fun.Overall, we liked the place so much that we are considering buying an apartment there ourselves. - M Cuthbert & family
