PRIVATELY OWNED AND RUN. NO HIDDEN EXTRAS this apartment is used as our family holiday home and therefore furnished accordingly, plenty of linen, towels crockery etc. Our own sunbeds with cushions. This is a beautifully appointed two bedroom 2nd floor corner property with a separate kitchen area and large lounge with huge windows with blue tinted glass on two sides overlooking the pool to one side and open land to the other. The unique 'Seahorse' design of the complex has been developed to ensure maximum sunlight across the two huge interlinked pools all day. The complex is 3 years old and situated in an upmarket quiet area of Didim with local beaches bars and restaurants just a short walk away. However a quick hop on the local bus will see you in the lively cosmopolitan resort of Altinkum popular with British and Turkish holiday makers within minutes.

The Aegean Coast region
Beautiful warm clear blue sea with many interesting and secluded bays make up the Aegean coast.
The temperature is mainly warm and sunny throughout the Spring and Autumn and very hot in the Summer months of July and August.
There are two local golf courses planned for 2010 the nearest one at present can be found in Bodrum.
Altinkum / Yesilkent area
Altinkum means 'Golden Sands' in Turkish and refers to large sweeping bay in Altinkum. There are many bars and restaurants to be found along the promenade (pedestrianised during the summer months) and a huge open air nightclub. Most restaurants provide a free pick up and drop off service to Yesilkent and surrounding areas.
There are many places to visit including the famous Ephesus, Miletus, Priene, Pamukkale (cotton candy castle) Bafa lake national park, Apollo temple, and many Roman ruins to explore, boat/gullet trips around the bays or even a trip to Greece as Kos is nearby.
The nearby marina is due for completion in 2009. A large water park is nearby serviced by regular buses. There is a regular Saturday market. Large supermarkets and a fairground all within a few minutes by bus. Water sports can be found at the local bay.
Yesilkent is very quiet and peaceful with just the birdsong and occasional jingling bells of the grazing sheep. The night sky is free from street light glow and excellent for star gazing with a glass of Raki!!
How to get there
Most charter companies fly into Bodrum from May- October. BA scheduled flights all year fly into Izmir which although further away has good motorway links. Once booked I can arrange transfers or if you want to drive yourself we use Economy car rental.
Internet sites for flights: BA.com good prices if you book early Fly into Iznir Google 'cheap flights to Turkey' for great deals. NEW FOR 2009 EASYJET ARE NOW FLYING TO BODRUM. Internet and Travel Agents: Thomas Cook and First Choice also fly into Bodrum regularly in Summer months

Further details indoors: * FREE Welcome pack* Large lounge with huge windows overlooking the pool, open farmland, mountains and olive groves. Television with DVD player and plenty of DVDs. Large terrace with table and seating for 4-6. Bathroom with bespoke green glass sinks and waterfall tap. Unusually for apartments there is a large separate kitchen with lovely granite work tops and all the appliances etc. you can think of, including a water cooler/heater for ice cold drinks or a coffee on tap,or a coffee maker for freshly brewed coffee.and of course a full size dishwasher....who wants to wash up on holiday? There is a small dining area in the lounge. The bedrooms have mirrored wardrobes and drawer units. Bed 1: Large double bed, mirrored wardrobe, dressing table, bedside cabinets,hairdryer lovely balcony which catches the mornig sun ideal for breakfast. Bed 2: Two single beds (1 has a smaller stacking bed under) so can sllep 3, mirrored wardrobe, bedside cabinets and juliet balcony.. overlooking farmland. We have also supplied a small child's inflatable 'ready' bed in addition, should an extra child stowaway in your suitcase!! Bathroom: Jacuzzi bath with shower over, unusual glass sink & WC. Books and board games as well as a selection of DVDs are in the apartment for guests to use.
Further details outdoors: The large terrace faces west so you can enjoy the shade in the heat of the day and the late afternoon sun and glorious sunsets. The bedroom balcony faces East so great for enjoying the morning sun at breakfast. We great countryside and mountain views, most days you will suddenly see 100s of sheep or goats with tinkling bells grazing in the adjacent field as the Shepherd drives his flock through. Private sunbeds with cushions and reclining chairs provided. Please provide your own beach towels. Private umbrellas Private kids toys Security cameras are in place as is a night watchman. This is a privately owned apartment also used by our family NO HIDDEN EXTRAS. English speaking staff in office. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival and at departure and beds made up. Spare linen is provided if you wish to change it during your stay. Any extra cleaning or laundry required can be arranged with the management on site at a small charge.
Conditions
A security deposit of £150 will be taken on your arrival and returned in full on your departure provided no damages.

Additional water for the water cooler in the apartment must be purchased by yourselves (a very small cost). There will be a fresh container insitu when you arrive
Unlike similar complexes we include Aircon/heating in the rental price. but please ask you not to run it if you are not in the apartment, it is very efficient and will cool/heat the apartment very quickly.
