Home description
A luxury two bed split level penthouse apartment,sleeps 4/6 people.Level one consists of the 2 bedrooms,and a bathroom with shower and a plumbed in washing machine. Both bedrooms open out onto a balcony overlooking the pool.Upstairs to fully fitted open plan lounge/kitchen,and a 2nd toilet with fitted wash hand basin.This level opens out onto a large roof terrace ideal for sunbathing,al fresco wining and dining,and overlooks the pool with fabulous skyline views of the surrounding mountains,and the town.The roof terrace has 2 sunloungers and a table 4 chairs and an umbrella to keep you shaded in hot summer days .There is also an outside hand held shower to cool you down.Inside the open plan lounge /kitchen is fitted out with fridge,freezer,microwave,4 ring cooker hob(gas) with overhead extractor fan,toaster ,kettle,and a 30 litre capacity cold/hot water dispenser.A table and 4 chairs for inside dining,a 3 piece suite which folds into a double bed, satellite T.V. dvd/cd player ,coffee table,and all cutlery etc. Back downstairs one bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe and bedside cabinet,and the other boasts a double bed ,wardrobe and dressing table ,and bedside cabinets . The entrance hall area also has a further wardrobe used to house cleaning stuff,mops vacum cleaner etc .
Bonus- for those of you are musically inclined the owner has left a guitar which he uses to play and relax on those warm summer nights on the roof terrace ,guests who can play are welcome to use the instrument,its on top of the wardrobe in the entrance hall! For families with very young children we have left a cot. All rooms have remote control air conditioning/Heating.

The Aegean Coast region
The Aegean coast is famous for its turquoise blue waters, friendly locals, busy market towns ,and beautiful sandy beaches. It is an ideal location for a family orientated holiday with plenty to do and see, whether you want an active or leisurely break, then the Aegean has it all. Convenient to visit Bodrum and its famous Knight of St John fortress overlooking the harbour,or getting a buzz in Europe’s largest open air club Halikarnoss, to the popular resort of Kusadasi with many an ocean liner depositing cruise veterans to sample a day in a popular Turkish resort.
The sophistication of Izmir makes for a delightful city, with a stunning location. Temperatures rarely drop below 15c in winter and hit a heady 38c in the height of summer. No humidity though ,so pleasant as well. Visit the temple of Apollo in Didim and try and work out how they managed to raise those massive columns some 2000 years ago! Take in one of the many local markets at Soke , Kusadasi, Akbuk, a Turkish bath is a must as is at least one Turkish night with the ever popular belly dancers. Enjoy a holiday filled with endless Turkish delight.
Altinkum / Didim area
Altinkum is a beautiful child friendly resort with three beaches, a fun fair, boat trips lively night life, bars, discos restaurants, and a new Marina and golf course on the way. A lively strip full of bars restaurants, and night life to suit all ages, and the friendliness of the locals will blow you away. Plenty to do, as quiet or as raucous as you want, you decide. Culture vultures can visit the 2000 year old Temple of Apollo at Didim at top of the strip or arrange trips to Ephesus/pammukale, or lazy island boat trips, or trips to local and surrounding markets or to Bodrum.
How to get there
Altinkum is approx 1 hour transfer time from Bodrum Airport, and 1.5 hours from Izmir Airport. Transfers can be arranged from Bodrum Airport at a cost of £15 return pp and £20pp from Izmir.
We found local company Sem Tours of Altinkum the best and cheapest option.e-mail address is semtours@semtours.com.Alternatively Oracle travel and estates who originally built the complex, operate tours and airport transfers, but they tend to be around £5pp dearer, than sem tours. e-mail oracleestates@yahoo.co.uk.
Depending on where you are flying from,you can arrange flight only deals to/from Bodrum /Izmir. May to end of Sept flights to Bodrum, then Oct to end of April Izmir is best bet. www.aegeanflights.com fly to Bodrum all year round.

Further details indoors: In addition to above, the air conditioning units can be used to generate warm air, not necessary most of year; we also have a 30litre cold/hot water dispenser, which is a god send in summer as it saves you the hassle of shopping for bottles of water in supermarkets daily! Just call the number and a replacement will be delivered to the apt, and it is actually way cheaper than buying 2ltre bottles (number is on dispenser).Alternatively the girls at the snack bar will arrange delivery for you should you need a replacement.
The apt is a short stroll to the strip which is home to the Tansas supermarket, and turning left onto the strip will take you down to the town and beach, and it full of shops/bars, restaurants etc
Further details outdoors: The complex is manned 24/7 by security staff and CCTV cameras have been fitted in the perimeter. There is a pool snack/bar where inexpensive food/drinks can be purchased. The complex also has several games rooms and a gym, with table tennis ,pool etc A free courtesy bus will take you to the beach or anywhere on the strip and runs 3 times daily from the complex, and can be picked up outside oracle estates office on the strip for return to the complex. times are advertised on the wall as you enter the apartment block.
Conditions
A 25% non refundable deposit is required 6 weeks prior to departure
Guests will be expected to pay/or replace for any breakages.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that the gas/electrics are switched off prior to departure, but should mention to oracle as a safety precaution, so that the site management are aware that premises are ready to be cleaned and inspected.
