About the home

This beautiful second floor apartment as seen on sky tvs real estate channel ( Turkey the next big thing ) has everything needed for a great self catering holiday, the apartment is fully furnished to a very high standard. The bedroom is very spacious with plenty of storage space,the large bathroom is beautifully tiled with bath/shower,and the great space of the open plan lounge/kitchen area which opens out on to the lovely balcony overlooking the pools, jacuzzi and surrounding area is a great place to chill out with a glass of wine or a beer.

The main bedroom has twin beds,plenty of storage space and air conditioning.The lounge area has a high standard double sofa bed king size width and a single sofa bed, 21" TV/DVD which is connected to satelite for your enjoyment,air conditioning and ceiling fan.Their is also a dining table and four chairs , iron and ironing board and also the use of the fully fitted safe is included in the price per week, as is maid service once a week and air conditioning.

The complex of golden park has something for everyone with 3 swimming pools one of which is the biggest in Altinkum,kids pool,jacuzzi, poolside bar with entertainment on most nights,the turkish night is a must for everyone,large screen tv with sky channels and dvds available to rent , restaurant with very good food served all day, reception, and 24hr security and CCTV. They also provide a free mini bus to beach and town centre both of which are only 15mins walk away,nearest supermarket only 5mins walk.The gardens of the complex are very large and safe for kids to play and with no main roads near makes it safe for familys.The complex also suits some disabled as it has ramps and lifts in most blocks J block has a lift , there is also a hoist into the pool.
New for season 2006 the complex now has a new kids area with playstation 2 , pool table, bar football and darts plus many other games to keep the children happy.

All windows are double glazed pvc and fully fitted with insect screens. Electric mosquito repeller,also avaliable to plug in.
The apartment has instant hot water provided by the boiler and not solar panels.
The cooker is duel fuel gas and electric in case of the odd power cut which can happen from time to time.
Cots for young children are avaliable to rent from the complex for £2 per day.
Large 20 litre bottles of water are avaliable to buy at reception,to save you carrying from supermarket.
Pools and bar area open from 1st May - 31st Oct.

Conditions

To book the apartment a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the rest payable six weeks before departure. A £50 refundable deposit is also required before departure in case of breakages, this will be refunded once the apartment has been checked on your arrival back home.

The Aegean Coast region

Altinkum with its wide stretches of golden sands lapped by the clear blue waters of the southern Aegean is ideal for families. Life in Altinkum revolves around its 3 beaches and beautiful secluded coves, stretching from the small harbour at one end of the the bay to a rocky headland at the other with over 1km of sand between .From the harbour and pier you can try your luck at fishing which is very good fun and the locals offer lots of good advice,or you can take a wonderful boat trip round the coast to some truly great beaches and try snorkeling to see some of the many bright colours of the hundreds of types of fish,or take a boat trip to Bodrum to visit the Bodrum castle or sample the great delights of turkish shopping.The Aegean area is also famous for one of the seven wonders of the world the temple of Artemision and the ancient city of Ephesus which are well worth a visit at only 1 1/2 hrs away from Altinkum.

The Altinkum / Didim area

The area has so much to offer with plenty of water sports and a new water park opened for 2005 season and for season 2007 the new marina offering boat trips across to the greek islands,or if you wish to explore the area is full of history with the temple of Apollo only 20mins walk from the apartment in the small town of Didyma.Also every saturday the town has a local market selling every thing from fruit,veg and spices to fake designer goods. When the sun goes down Altinkum really begins to glow, with a wide range of bars and restaurants offering a great choice of turkish dishes,and also chinese and indian. And if after all that you still feel up for it there is a good mixture of lively bars and discos with entertainment for all the family.

Fly to Bodrum or Izmir airport,flight time approx 4hrs.Airport transfers available right to complex , 1hr 10mins from Bodrum airport.
