About the home

The apartment is situated within the lovely family resort of Altinkum which has everything you need to have a fantastic holiday. The apartment is brand new and has a large kitchen, perfect for self catering. There is a good size bathroom with a luxury corner bath and shower attachment. There is also an en-suite with shower attached to the master bedroom and also a separate cloakroom.

The apartment is tastefully decorated throughout and will give a family a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The apartment has partial sea views and is overlooking the swimming pool which also has a separate children's pool. There is a large lounge of approx. 50 square meters and 3 double bedrooms with twin beds in each and access to the balcony from both the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom. All 3 bedrooms and the lounge have air-conditioning.

The apartment has a very large terrace of approx. 40 meters square. The apartment complex is ideally situated with a large supermarket close by. There are a whole host of restaurants and shops in the nearby area, with many situated on the main beach of Altinkum which is approx. 9 minutes walk from the complex.

A Dolmus bus is also in constant operation on the route between the complex and the main beach of Altinkum, for those who prefer not to walk. The fare on the Dolmus is incredibly cheap and they operate a very frequent service. First class water sports are on offer at the main beach of Altinkum, including boat trips to smaller beautiful nearby islands and to Bodrum. There are 2 other beaches close by and historical sights to be visited, including the famous historical site 'The Temple of Apollon'.

Airport transfers can be arranged for £40 each way, from Bodrum Airport to the Sevim Apartment Complex (car can carry up to 4 people, £10 per head. APARTMENT HIRE FROM £150 JAN TO £275 AUG PER WEEK (WHOLE APARTMENT - NOT PER PERSON COST).

There is a games room on the complex which has pool table and table soccer, along with other activities. This facility is free to all on the complex.

Their is also a children's play area on the complex with swings, slide and sand pit.

The Aegean Coast region

The Aegean Sea is very safe to swim and like a luke warm bath. First class water sports are on offer at the main beach of Altinkum, including boat trips to smaller beautiful nearby islands and to Bodrum. There are 2 other beaches close by one of which is called 'Third Beach' which offers a quieter environment with waters that are clear and sparkling.

There are also historical sights to be visited, including the famous historical site 'The Temple of Apollon'. Altinkum offers you the perfect family holiday as it is set on a sandy bay and is a resort with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The people are very friendly, really helpful and most speak very good English. The British Pound is welcome in most places. The food is very diverse with everything on offer from international to Turkish cuisine.

The Altinkum area

The apartment is located in the Sevim apartment complex which is ideally situated with a large supermarket close by. There are a whole host of restaurants and shops in the nearby area, with many situated on the main beach of Altinkum which is approx. 10 minutes walk from the complex.

A Dolmus bus is also in constant operation on the route between the complex and the main beach of Altinkum, for those who prefer not to walk. The fare on the Dolmus is incredibly cheap and they operate a very frequent service. Altinkum beach is a long wide stretch of golden sand where you can bask in the sun.

HOW TO GET THERE
Monarch Airlines fly into Bodrum Airport frequently and another charter flight company who have offered competitive travel in the past have been 'The Charter Flight Centre' Tel: 0845 045 0156. Airport transfers can be arranged for £40 each way, from Bodrum Airport to the Sevim Apartment Complex (car can carry up to 4 people - £10 per head) or from Izmir Airport for approx. £60 each way (car can carry up to 4 people)

Bodrum is usually only open in the high season (1st April until 31st October), however Izmir airport is open all year round and is still only 1 hour 30 minutes drive from the apartment.

The flight time to Turkey is approximately 4 hours from the UK.

Altinkum offers a great Dolmus bus service for trips to Historic sights, etc. so there is no real need for car hire but we can give you car hire details if required.
