This spacious 3-bedroom apartment (102m sq) is available for rent on a quiet complex 5 mins from main centre and 15 minutes from beaches. The apartment is situated on the second floor and can accommodate up to 7 people. The bedrooms are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom (1 double bed+3 single beds) with the living area also containing seating that transforms into 2 sofa beds should there be a requirement.
In the bedrooms are two large wardrooms with drawers for storage. The kitchen/dining area has electric cooker and large fridge freezer. The bathroom has a large electric shower.
This apartment has 2 balconies, one leading from the living room with views over the pool and also sea views, with the other from the bedroom overlooking the kids play area. Welcome pack will be available on arrival of apartment to help ensure a comfort and happy holiday.

The Aegean Coast region
Altinkum is situated on the southern Agean coastline of Turkey and is well known for its 3 large golden sandy beaches all of which have sunbeds and umbrellas and numerous watersports on offer. The ancient ruins of the Temple of Apollo are just a few minutes away by dolmus and the well preserved archaeological site of Ephesus is approximately 1 1/4 hours drive.
The spas of Pammukale and Dalyan's mud baths are well worth a visit with the nearby towns of Kusadasi and Izmir being close enough to explore. Bodrum can be reached by road or daily ferry and has an excellent castle as well as many more shops, restaurants and bars.
Altinkum / Didim area
Altinkum is a beach lovers paradise, situated on the Southern Aegean Coast of Turkey. Simpler and quieter than Kusadasi, Marmaris and Bodrum, it is the ideal resort to relax in. Altinkum means "golden sand" and lives up to its name: the 3 main long sandy beaches have fine golden sand making it the perfect place for children and families. The local people are friendly and the resort has a great atmosphere. There is a huge choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Altinkum has something for everyone: - International cuisine as well as excellent Turkish restaurants (most of which offer a free pick-up and drop-off service), or if you want nightlife you will find a good choice of lively bars. There are a number of large supermarkets offering great quality food and drink. Water sports are available along the beaches also diving trips from the harbour. Pleasure boats go out daily to the small islands and bays around Altinkum or to Bodrum. There is also an aqua park (waterslides) on the edge of the town and a larger Adaland water park near Kusadasi. The local Saturday market is well worth a visit and within walking distance of the apartment. Close by the ancient town of Didim stands the magnificent remains of the Temple of Apollo. These ruins are definitely worth a visit as many of its columns are still remarkably well preserved after 2.000 years. There are many other local ruins to visit in this area including Miletus, Prienne.
How to get there
There are 3 airports within reasonable distance of Altinkum, namely Izmir, Bodrum and Dalaman. There are numerous flight companies that fly from the UK to these airports some examples of which are below;
From May to end September you can fly to Bodrum with various airlines but we have found it cheaper to fly with BA (www.ba.com) flying to Izmir - i.e. July £120 return.
Also try www.aegeanflights.com they fly to Bodrum all year round.

Transportation can be organised, with example prices below. Bodrum airport 1 hour away. 1-2 persons £30 one-way or £45 return. Addition £5 for each person (each way) Izmir airport approx 2hrs away. £50 one way for 12 persons or £80 return. Additional £5 per person each way. Dalaman airport 3hrs 30 mins away. 1-2 persons cost £90 one way or £160 return . additional people £10 one way £15 return.
Please note we need at least one weeks notice and also flight details to arrange this properly to help ensure your holiday runs as smoothly as possible from start to finish.
Car hire is also available at approximately £25 per day via various websites and agencies. Again a list of these can be sent out upon application.
In addition shuttle buses run between some airports and Altinkum.
