The Aegean Coast region
There are excellent beach facilities at Altinkum on any of the resorts 3 great beaches. The name Altinkum itself means golden sands. We are nearest the second beach (15 minute walk) which has watersports and pedaloes. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire and there is large choice of bars and restaurants nearby. Altinkum is close to many fascinating historic sights. In the nearby resort of Didum is the temple of Apollo where the famous snake-adorned head of Medusa stands. A longer daytrip can take you to Ephesis, the best reserved classical Roman City.
Also Visit Dalyman and Turtle Bay. Watch the baby turtles scurry to the sea. The National Park is 20 minutes drive away with spectacular scenary.Near Altinkum's 3rd beach there is a ranch where horse safari trips can be offered. There is also scuba diving and boat trips galore.
The Aegean coast wher Altinkum sits has an average of 12 hours daily sunshine during the summer months with temperatures often rising above 30 degrees in July and August.

How to get there
Fly into Bodrum or Izmir airports. For budget airlines try BA, Thomas Cook, First Choice, Algean Airways. Changeover days are flexible.
Travelling time from airport is about 1 hour. Transfers can be arranged from £10 per person each way.

Further details indoors: One bedroom is equipped with 3 single beds plus there is a further single bedroom. A cot can be provided on request at no extra charge.
There is a bathroom , shower room or toilet on each of the 3 floors of the villa. The bath is a Jaccussi and the shower has powerful body jets. As well as communal areas there are also 2 private terraces. A small book library and board games to be added during season. .
Further details outdoors: The main pool has underwater lights and the communal area looks beautiful at night. There are sun loungers, and BBQ's for general use. Each villa also has 2 sizeable private terraces and balconies. There are views to every aspect.
