The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin. The living area is an open plan fitted kitchen and lounge with air conditioning, with the kitchen being fully equipped with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. The lounge is furnished with 2 sofa beds, coffee table, TV and DVD. Large patio doors lead onto the balcony, with mountain and sea views. There is a patio set provided for outdoor dining.

There are 2 main beaches. The Main Beach, which is located 300 metres, downhill and the Third Beach, which is a bus ride away and situated just passed The Garden of Sun Hotel.
SHOPS, RESTAURANTS AND BARS
2 streets away and you are surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. They are also Situated along The Main Beach and there is area called Dolphin Square, which is left at the bottom of the hill and across the road by the bus stop. There is a Shopping Centre at the bottom of the hill on the right. Medusa Disco is a nightclub, about 300 metres to the left of The Main Beach. The Aegean Coast region

Located on the north of the Bodrum Peninsula, overlooks the beautiful Altinkum Bay with the pine trees and crystal clear blue waters gently lapping our sandy beach, and provides access to different bays with 360 degrees of breathtaking scenery. The apartment is located overlookng the beach.

In the area are a host of historical sites easily visited from the apartment. Priene, Didyma, Miletus and House of the Virgin Mary, and Ephesus, which is one of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World and worth a visit.

The Altinkum / Central Altinkum area

Altinkum is, in fact, a part of Didim... as are Yesilkent, Mavisehir, Yenihisar and Akbuk. There are over 30 beaches in and around Didim, most of which are completely unknown to both tourists and residents alike. Many of them are little more than private, secluded bays, but they are there all the same.


1 mile to Temple of Apollo 6 miles to a new water park.

There is a huge market in Didim each Saturday which will take you at least 3 visits to completely see. The local shops and restaurants offer great service and fantastic value. There are 3 good sized supermarkets nearby.
English is readily understood everywhere.

There are hundreds of hotels in Didim, offering a wide range of standards from the 1-star guest house type pensions, across the board to 5-stars. Two of these are in Akbuk, another is nearing completion near to "3rd Beach" and a fourth hotel has 5-star facilities. There are many extremely good quality 3-star hotels around too. As with the hotels, there are also restaurants to be found everywhere, by the dozen. A large number of these are located on the seafront promenade and generally cater to British tastes, with even the Turkish dishes on the menus being prepared with this in mind. There are now several Chinese restauarants, a traditional Fish and Chippy, and a Balti House Indian. Most of the restaurants offer full English breakfast, for this is still extremely poplular with the tourists. For fish lovers, Didim offers several good fish restaurants, such as the "Acik" and "Kamaci", located opposite the Apollo Temple, "Kamaci 2", down by tyhe harbour, and going a bit further afield, at Tasburun, which is after the Aquapark, one can find small fish restaurants offering very fresh produce. For traditional Turkish cuisine, "Sehir Lokantasi" in Yenihisar is still the most popular, with locals and foreigners, offering a huge selection of Turkish dishes.

The night life in Didim is varied with something for everyone. There are bars where one can sit and relax and have a chat, with background music, before going on to others that offer bingo, quizzes, game shows and karaoke. For the night owls, there are the dance bars, such as "Galaxy", "Garden Bar", "Seal Bar" and "Rooftop", which stay open until 3am. Then for the dawn breakers, the nightclubs such as "Garden Bar", the open air "Medusa"
