About the home

The property has 3 bed rooms, 1 double, 1 with twin beds, and one single. In addition there is a fold up bed.
The lounge can sleep 3 further people.... the settees convert, one to a double and one to a single.
There are 2 shower-rooms with toilets. The kitchen is on the top floor in a very large open plan kitchen, diner, lounge. This leads onto the very large terrace. Part of the terrace is covered to give much needed shade in the hot summer months. There is plenty of sunbathing space and sun beds are provided.

The kitchen is very well appointed with Fridge/frrzer, washing maching, hot/cold water dispenser, microwave, toaster and kettle. All bed linen is provided. You only need to bring your beach/pool towels.
The apartment is fully air conditioned. One in each bedroom and one in the lounge.

Facilities

This is a duplex apartment. It is on the 3rd and 4th floor. The lift will take you up to the 3rd floor, there the internal stairs will take you up to the 4th floor where there is the kitchen/diner/lounge, the upstairs bedroom and shower room and terrace.
The terrace is very large and ideal for small BBQ's. There is a portable BBQ stacked away in a cupboard on the terrace.

Further details outdoors:
Two large swimming pools and two children's pools. A good bar/restaurant is in between the two pools with plenty of sunbathing facilities and space. The staff are very friendly and most speak sufficient English.
Sun beds are owned by each apartment. We have 4 for our apartment.

Not allowed to smoke in apartment. Smokers please use the terrace or the garden.
£200 will be required as a damage deposit. Refunded when leaving if the apartment is left in a satisfactory condition.i

The Aegean Coast region

Very beautiful coast line with so many Islands to visit. Nearest Island is the Greek Island of Kos.
Further up North is Ismir, Kusadasi and the island of Samos. Down south is Bodrum with its famous castle, The Aegean Coast where you'll discover buzzing, picturesque resorts, awesome history and unforgettable outdoor activities. Here you can swim in the crystal blue sea, there are mountains you can explore on horse back. The Apollo temple has been a tourist attraction since ancient times. It was the place where our ancestors came to consult the oracle.

Altinkum has a busy night life. The Town gives you easy access to an incredible range of bars and clubs. With the local buses running late into the night. It’s common practice to sleep late in the mornings here, the discos and nightclubs are always lively!

The Altinkum / Camlik Mah area

The word Altinkum means Golden Sands. The main town and shopping centre is Didim, about 5 Km away.
Altinkum is the swimming area for this town, and the beaches are very sandy and convenient for family swimming. One can walk out into the sea for a good 100 m and the water is ony waist deep. The beaches are well patrolled most of the time. Water sport...skiing, parasailing and skuba diving and fishing can all be found here. There is something for every one to enjoy.

Taking the main road, which in ancient times was the holy road from the temple of Apollon to the ruined city of Miletos, the Aqua Park is just a five minute bus ride and provides plenty of fun for all the family on those hot and hazy summer days.

Some activities include; local history sightseeing, mountain walking, coastal Walks, masses of high quality low cost restaurants.

Throughout the season this lovely and relaxed village comes to life. The bustling twenty four hour market sells almost everything that you can imagine, from exotic spices and fine leather goods, to quality souvenirs and gifts. For those visitors who already have a home here, fresh organic produce is in abundance. The lovely sea front hosts a selection of restaurants and bars along with local shops and hotels.

Easy Jet is now flying direct to Bodrum from Stansted, Gatwick, Livertpool and Bristol.
The flights take about 3h 45m from Stansted.

Once in Bodrum I shall arrange for a taxi to collect you from the Airport and take you straight to the apartment.
This will be at your expense. It costs about £15 per person each way. The taxi driver will show you into the apartment, answer any questions and make sure you have everything you need.
He will collect you at the end of your holiday and take you back to Bodrum Airport.
