The Altinkum / Central Altinkum area
Altinkum is a picturesque resort town located on the shore of the Aegean sea in Turkey. The name "Altinkum" translates to "golden sand". The town has three main beaches. Altinkum is popular with British and Turkish tourists.
There is a range of bars and restaurants offering a range of Turkish and British food. The beach-side restaurants tend to cater mostly for British Tourists. Further afield in Didim, there is a selection of authentic Turkish restaurants.

The first time I came to visit Turkey I was lucky enough to meet Apo, He collected me from the airport and took me to the villa. The villa was excellent in every way. As is the norm when in another strange country there are many questions. Apo gave me the answers. I would recommend him to anyone. I have recently been back to visit Turkey and once again, Apo was 100% helpful and reliable. He is now like one of the family.

The villa is situated in a great location, just outside of town, minutes from local shops and a short stroll to the main part of town. At night the town is very lively with plenty of bars and restaurants..
We found all the people very friendly and genuine always willing to help you.
The beaches are within walking distance or a short bus ride, we found the hire of sunbeds/unbrella very good.
The villa is very large and comfortable with all you need for a great holiday, the people are very friendly and make you feel a home and the complex is kept clean including the pool area which was great to strool to from our villa.
The dolmus bus stops outside and is a cheap alternative other than walking.
There's a weekly market and would recommend a trip to the Tempe of apollo.
The journey time from Didum airport is approx 1 hour.
This was our first holiday in Turkey, the location was great and coupled with a fantantic villa, we will certainly be returning in the near future.

The villa is in a fantastic location, minutes from the town and the local shops and walking distance to the main part of Didim and altinkum. Very alive, especially at night, definitely if your one for the bars and clubs. Great beaches, some in walking distance others a short bus ride. Good restaurants. Very friendly location and the site is well kept and there is a good pool for everyones use.
Villa large and comfortable everything you need for a relaxing holiday .
