This is a small complex of just 44 apartments and Duplex Penthouse apartments on a walled and gated site which makes it very secure and child friendly. The complex boasts a large swimming pool and adjoining child pool which are overlooked by the apartments 2 large terrace/balconies.The site also has 24 hr security.
The fully air-conditioned apartment consists of an open plan lounge diner with a fully fitted kitchen,2 double bedrooms,1 of which is en-suite,1 twin bedroom and a family shower room.
In the lounge area there is a corner sofa which also converts into a double bed plus additional seating, a large LCD TV with satellite system,DVD player ,games console with aprox 50 games,and i pod /i phone docking music system with a selection of DVDs and a small library.
The dining area has a table and chairs for 6 people with additional eating area on the large second floor balcony.
The fully fitted kitchen boasts a combination gas/electric hob,electric oven,combination microwave oven,dishwasher,washing machine,large fridge/freezer,coffee maker and drinking water cooler.
The Master bedroom suite has an en suite with large shower unit,a seating area with a double sofa and 2 chairs and its own LCD TV/DVD player and satellite system. The seating area has patio doors which lead onto its own private sun terrace which is equipped with sun loungers and reclining chairs ,and has spectacular sea views.
Both the twin bedroom and double bedrooms are fully fitted with wardrobes, dressing tables and bedside units. All doors and windows are fitted with Mosquito nets and security shutters.

The complex is fully walled and gated allowing no cars inside making it very safe and child friendly,but provides ample free car parking outside.
There is a snack bar serving drinks and light meals with occasional themed/Turkish nights and BBQ,s.
At the end of the driveway to AH3 are 2 fully stocked supermarkets and bus stop which goes into Altinkum one way and to the fabulous Aqua park the other way with bus fares 1.75 Turkish Lira max,the buses(dolmus) run every few mins.
The sister complex to AH3 is situated approx 500 mtrs away and has a large restaurant and bar,Gym and sauna and very large swimming pool.

The Aegean coast area of Turkey has long hot and dry summers and mild winters.In the summer temperatures often reach into the 40s and with the cooling sea breezes offers the perfect holiday climate for those looking for sun,sea and sand.
There are many historical sites to visit with the world famous Appolo temple only 1.5 km away,the magnificent ampi-theatre at Miltos only15 km away and the huge city of Ephesus about 1.5 hours away.
The beautiful Bafa Lake is a bird watchers paradise with many nesting sites for rare species, the mud baths at Dalaman, Turtle Beach, Pammukale with its magical waters, Adaland Water and Dolphin park, Bodrum with its Marina and cosmopolitan shopping are all areas served by the many local tour companies details of which are available in the apartment.
The newly built Didim Marina is also a must see with hundreds of yachts and upmarket shops and bistros
The Altinkum / Mavisehir area
Altinkum/Didim is a quiet resort that comes to life at night with many restaurants and bars to suit any taste,some offer traditional Turkish evenings complete with belly dancers,dancing troupes and other entertainments while others cater to the more traditional tastes (even fish and chips).
The harbour at Altinkum offers Several boat trips to the local islands and beaches and ferries to Bodrum and the Greek island of Kos.
For a fun filled day out there is the local Aqua Park which has its own complimentary bus service during the season.

We only read reviews on this apartment complex when we got back, but fortunately have to say that the review is correct and that this really is an exceptional property. One can often take a risk when making a booking based on photographs, but I have to say that the location is spectacular. The sunsets are quite amazing. The apartment really is spacious and exceptionally clean, roomy and very well appointed. The pool area is well serviced, lots of beds, and with air conditioned rooms throughout, satellite connection, library and a DVD collection second only to Blockbuster, there is something for everyone. Expect comfort,cleanliness, good aspect, friendly people, and lots of extras.

We have just returned from a 10 day in AH3, and it's fair to say that we are speechless.This Penthouse Apartment is under described. It's truly amazing and top class luxury. This is a brand new complex, and other apartments were being sold left, right and centre whilst we were there.... this shows of it's popularity and demand.
The pool area is spotless, cleaned & maintained daily , and also the pool bar - selling beers, soft drinks, burgers & chips etc is now getting off it's feet, and always welcome to suggestions.
There is absolutely everything inside this apartment that you could think of. We have spend many years doing self-catering holidays, and have never experienced anything quite like this one before.
The weather was very hot for May, upto 40 degrees by early afternoon, but as AH3 is on the top of a hill, the breeze was to die for !!
There are 2 Supermarkets and a garage at the bottom of the hill, which is very very handy.
The dolmus (bus) service is also very useful & runs every few minutes from the bottom of the hill, which can take you to various places including the main Altinkum resort centre, where the streets are lined with shops, bars & restaurants.
We give this holiday full marks and highly recommend to anyone considering holidaying in Turkey at a 'cheaper than Primark' price !!!
